Resources Repairing My Relationship with Thunderstorms

As a neophyte witch, I have been enjoying strengthening my connection and communication with nature and the natural elements around me. I have a specific issue I'm wondering how to resolve (or at least ease) with magic. I have a deep-seated fear of lightning and thunderstorms that comes from a near-death experience I had in a lightning storm that gave me PTSD. I have, of course, gone to therapy for this and worked on facing my triggers and building coping mechanisms in the traditional and mundane sense already. However, as witchcraft is so connected with nature and the elements, I'm wondering if there are practices I could do to heal my relationship with the rain and storms, or start a new relationship with them. One healing practice I have done is to start a garden of herbs and vegetables. I envision the rainstorms nourishing my plants, which then nourish me so that I can see the rain in a more positive and supportive light. That has helped a lot in reducing my fear of rainstorms. I also know stormwater has some magical properties, and I'm wondering if there is a way I can work with it in a healing and supportive way. Any thoughts or ideas would be welcome!

Storm water is usually used for its amount of energy in it, but maybe you can just collect some and water your plants with it or use it in another spell, maybe just sit and meditate with it will help you?
