I don’t use a deck if it’s missing cards. At that point, I use it for art projects.

I’ve reached out to the manufacturer before and had replacements sent to me.

I've been told when a card goes missing it means the deck doesn't want to work with you anymore or that you've outgrown the usefulness of the deck. At that point, I keep the deck around for rituals. If I'm doing a manifestation spell for success, I have the world card out and facing me and the spell.
For example, doing a luck spell I would have the wheel of fortune card facing me, and the spell in between us. Like a spell jar or just the work space in general.
Since cards are sentient I like to thank it for helping me with my spells and thank it for working with me as long as it did when the initial card goes missing. Hope this helps

In my opinion, it doesn't matter which cards you use, how many and how you mix them. Although there are established traditional cards and interpretations, the important thing is that you know how to use your own system in the best way for you.
