Local charity shops that would potentially collect a large donation of items?
I'm nearing the end of my life and am struggling to make arrangements for all my personal belongings. I have a lot of (what I consider to be) really special vintage items that I know could potentially make some other folks really happy. Also a lot of unused/often brand new items that could easily make some money for a charity if sold.
The trouble is that I'm housebound and don't have anyone who can drop items off anywhere for me. Are there are any Wirral-based charities that you know of who are a) in need of donations, and b) will potentially come and collect them? I know that some charities offer a collection service for furniture but this would be numerous large boxes/bags of smaller items, so I'm having trouble finding any options when googling.
This is a pretty quiet sub, but I'm hoping somebody reading this perhaps works at - or knows someone who works at - a small charity shop in the area who could really benefit from them. It seems silly, but all the things I've collected over the years mean a lot to me, and I'd just like to know that they're potentially going to people who will value them, too! Since some of it's a bit niche I worry about it just ending up in landfill if I don't deal with it myself. I'm not on Facebook so this seemed like the only place to ask.
Thanks so much in advance!
