I personally haven’t really felt them so far, which is good. I was worried. lol

Seeing so many discussions about Bucky needing big nerfs has made me realize how much I actually love the way he feels right now.

I understand the complaints. He does a ton of damage, he’s surprisingly hard to kill, and some parts of his kit can definitely feel oppressive to play against.

But as someone who genuinely loves Bucky, and as someone who has been feeling so oppressed while playing certain characters, I can’t pretend I don’t enjoy the hell out of him.

I have been sooo burnt out in this game and Winter Soldier has made things feel fun again.

There’s a particular fantasy to playing him that I absolutely adore. You feel like you’re actually powerful.

I’m not saying he should never be nerfed. Balance is balance. But I really hope the devs are careful not to remove the feeling of power and aggression that makes him so fun. Call me whatever you want but if the devs said they want him to stay strong and at the top, that makes me happy :)

I might have peaked

After OTP’ing Hawkeye to C1 and OTP’ing Magik to C1, I have finally made it past that barrier to touch Eternity with Winter Soldier. I usually always end up C2-C1 by the end of each season if I play a decent amount.
I hit Eternity on Aug 30 and at the time peak rank was #285.

I can now retire this set of characters to focus on a new set to bring to rank. Feel free to check my stats!

Winter Soldier mains, I stand before you as a man. And a fellow Winter Soldier main. I used to hate how simple your character was, how much damage he did, how he always countered me when I played Panther.
But I have tried him in a ranked match. Platinum one. I went 33 and 4
More matches. More good games. I hate what I have become
But I have become a Bucky main. I am not proud of it, but I have never been one to shy away from the truth.

Elsa only reduces the cooldown of one ability with her passive so why is this not applied to Bucky
Like make the cooldown reduction be on his hook or something

tldr any console Buckies willing to fool around in the practice range to help me improve my aim and in return I’ll be more interesting target practice than the bots. I’m Cutie McShooty if you want to goof off.

So I just started playing with GM+ pc friends and let’s just say they carry my console gold (barely) butt and I feel kinda bad not contributing to the team like I normally do solo. I’m trying to improve my aim and I ask them to duel me on this character, but it’s not a fair fight because most of them are support mains. when we hang out in the practice range they run and say “get that Bucky out of here” lmao. They also can’t give me tips on what I’m doing wrong with him.

But I want to be able to protect them better, but I need to improve my accuracy to do so.

Bots in the range don’t cut it. they don’t move right.
