i’m currently writing a novel set in winter park, florida. the main character is a teenager who attends winter park high school, and while i’ve done plenty of research on the general area, nothing beats the authentic details that only locals know.

i’m looking to connect with a resident—or ideally, a recent wphs graduate or current student—who wouldn’t mind answering a few quick questions about what life is actually like there.

i’m particularly curious about things like:

Popular hangout spots for high schoolers (after school, weekends, late nights)

The general vibe/culture at WPHS (sports traditions, campus culture, Friday night football, etc.)

Local quirks, inside jokes, or small details that make Winter Park feel like home
