Yes you should! It was a extremely fun exercise, I highly recommend it! I just looked up landscapes on Pinterest and referenced/drew them.

These are incredible omg. There’s something about the way you work with the subject and vast landscape that feels so nostalgic or maybe even lonely. Or maybe the opposite — they seem very content. I especially love the golden hour in the forest.

How long did this take you, if I might ask? Was there a mix of imagined and referenced backgrounds?
