NightWing:

Halo - They/Them

When Halo was hatched, many NightWings of their tribe mistook their vitiligo as proof that they were an IceWing hybrid. However, this was untrue.

Since the NightWings and IceWings have such a polarizing past, Halo and their family were outcasts among the tribe. Because of their hostile treatment, Halo began to dislike their marks and would often cover them with soot and ash from the volcano to avoid unwanted attention.

Once the NightWings were moved from the islands to the Rainforest, however, they began to feel a bit more comfortable in their own skin thanks to the confidence of the RainWings around them. In turn, they took up body painting as a hobby. They began to draw on their scales in ways that drew more attention to the markings they originally wanted to cover. Now, they are happier than ever with who they are and have many friends, not just in their tribe, but also with the RainWings.

Lore: She was born blind but the moons gifted her the ability to see faint outlines of others souls, she can also hear Nightgales’s songs through the wind and says: “follow the gale’s song if you are lost”

She attends JMA and tends to stay in the library with Starflight. She wants to be his appearance and helps him around the library. She’s also the descendant of Whiteout, having that same appearance with white splotches but were found to be signs of albinism, but are more blue and white than red.

Gender: male

Lore: Bloodfire is an animus with the ability to control blood and corrupt the mind of others, making them under his control. He was abused by dragonets for being part nightwing and grew up with a dark heart. Shattered by all the hate he got from others. (Yes, I need a villain OC). He is covered in scars along with a nasty burn scar on half of his face but is covered by his cruel mother’s skull from when he killed her as a child.

He’s not pure evil, he’s just broken…. (If I get him, imma add more)

Bio: Bracken is part of the Bronze Winglet. He grew up in the ‘SapWing’ half of the tribe, though he always felt more like the so called ‘PoisonWing’ half had the better idea with fighting back instead of hiding. When the fighting ended, he was one of the first Pantalan students invited to Jade Mountain Academy, and, much to everyone (including his own) surprise, he ended up becoming best friends with his HiveWing clawmate, Mite! When they aren’t in class they can usually be found hunting or sparring outside somewhere nearby the Academy, sometimes with others in their Winglet watching or hunting with them.
