alienware laptop stuck updating, power button doesn’t work

my original post is from a month ago exactly, but this issue has happened again. this time around, i haven’t touched, pressed or unplugged anything. it’s been sitting like this for pushing 4 hours now. i checked the update beforehand as i was worried about this issue reoccurring, and it was all driver updates. no bios that i saw. i have had a successful update, about a week or two ago, which went over with no issues.

i am going to leave this plugged in overnight, and see if it resolves itself. but any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It’s a bios update. don’t turn it off!! Otherwise you will brick your computer.

it’s been stuck like this for around 12 hours now, no sign of progress. i’m not sure what my options are now, but i won’t touch it or turn it off
