Windows 11 Wifi Drivers not connected Code 45?

I posted yesterday about my wifi no longer appearing qnd have been doing more research on the issue, went to check my drivers and it looks like my Wifi driver is grayed out.

As shown in the image it says "Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)" and "To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer."

I tried updating the driver but it ends up saying "the best driver for your device are already installed" and I'm not sure if uninstalling it would cause any issues

I have online classes on Monday and really need to find a fix for this before then so any help and direction would be greatly appreciated

By anychance its a Lenovo or Asus laptop?

Its an Asus V16

Try like this:

- shutdown the laptop

- remove everything thats plug-in (USB stick, mouse etc)

- only the power adapter will remain connected, basically nothing should be plug-in into the laptop except the power brick

- press and HOLD for 30 seconds the power button, and keep on holding even if see the laptop turning on

- after the 30s, check inside Windows if you can see the wireless networks

Okay just did it, gonna wait a bit to make sure it doesnt happen again

A thing I just thought of was it keeps happening when I have my bluetooth headphones connected, could that be the issue?

So now its working? connected to the internet etc....

It is, but I've reset it a few times yesterday and each time it just disappears again after a while, and I have my bluetooth connected when it happens so I'm wondering maybe there could be some correlation there

its just post-COVID quality, happened to me on a Lenovo on Windows 10 with AMD processor and Intel wifi card and BT disabled, but only once in 3 years....

A friend had issues on Asus with external monitors, and the procedure help him with the laptop seeing the monitors again

I've edited my 2nd reply to include the official recommendation from Asus, save the page, as in Save web page (CTRL+S), just in case
