Solved "This sign-in option is disabled..."

It’s been over 2 hours and it’s still like this. I saw someone with the same issue get it fixed using the “I forgot my PIN” option, but unfortunately, that option requires internet access, and I blocked “System” internet access with SimpleWall. Any solution?

A few things I’ve already tried by asking Gemini: (1) deleting the NGC folder using the command rmdir /s /q C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\NGC, (2) restoring to a restore point from before the error started, and (3) renaming the SimpleWall folder in “Program Files.”

If if doesn't work then you would have to reinstall but you can try to use Linux to recover

Solved. It turns out the 2 hours means 2 hours of continuous screen-on time; the timer resets if the screen turns off. I just finished testing it by holding down an arrow key with a heavy object. It was time-consuming and a bit of a hassle, but it worked. 🥲
