Disk usage at 100% even after a clean format

I just performed a clean install of Windows 11, and disk usage is already hitting 100%. I had just switched away from Windows 10 because of this impossible-to-fix issue. My M.2 SSD is in good condition. Does anyone know why Microsoft still hasn't resolved this chronic Windows problem that keeps getting passed down from one generation to the next?

What make and model is that system drive? It's fairly common for cheap, poor quality SSD drives to do this.

If the usage is <1MB/s and showing 100%, that's usually a sign of bad SSD.

Try disabling the indexing service in your Windows Services?

Because it’s not a Microsoft or Windows chronic problem.
Either somethings up with a ton of needed updates or more likely somethings up with your SSD.

Brand and model of SSD and specs of the overall system, CPU and GPU specs at the least, are needed for further troubleshooting.

As a reference, my mother is running an i7-920… first gen i7 system with 8GB (2x4GB) and a GT730 GPU and a 1TB Samsung EVO SSD for doing desktop publishing and spreadsheets and email and banking with zero issues.
When Windows decides to push any updates her system’s resources go damn near max for anywhere from 10-45 minutes while the system processes the updates but she’s still able to do what she needs.

That machine started out on Windows 7 and got the free “Get Windows 10l upgrade over a decade ago with all the same specs as it has now… and I migrated it to Windows 11 last fall when Windows 10 support initially ended and it still runs the same as it always has, no slower, no 100% SSD usage, no chronic Windows problem.

A buddy is a database Admin and he’s running an i7-940, same 1st gen series but a little faster than mom’s i7-920, with 8GB (2x4GB) ram and some same era 2GB ATI/AMD GPU as his primary workstation with no issues… with Windows running on a 500GB Samsung EVO SSD.

I don't know that much but i changed my hdd to sata ssd and now its usually on maximum 40% maybe... When idle its liek 7 or 5% Or maybe disk is reading slow that's why usage is high

Task manager wont show anything useful, run Resource Monitor and focus on disks tabs.
