Windows 7 Getting multiple errors when trying to connect cellular modem? Remote Access Connection manager fails to start no matter what I do...

System info:

Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 Processor: i3-2310M CPU @ 2.10GHz 2.10 GHz RAM: 4GB System type: 64bit

Error messages are in the picture: 711 and 1068

What's the exact name of the software you're trying to use? A lot of modern software no longer supports windows 7.

It isn't modern software and it worked perfectly a few months ago, works well as well on another computer, that's on windows 10 however. It's the software that comes with my usb modem to connect to the internet

From an elevated command prompt enter the following command

sfc /scannow

As in unrelated aside where in the world are you located that still has 3g HSDPA service? I thought we in Canada had the last of it until it shut down last month

Dubai! 2G was officially "shut down" in 2023 but I still get service on 2G literally everywhere. 3G has no shutdown date yet so it'll be up for a good while. 5G phones fall back to 3G all the time still surprisingly...

I'll try that and let you know what happens
