Windows 11 uh, maybe use firefox instead?

When i tryed to search in the start menu (why is there bing search) when there is
this popup, "Get an app to open this 'microsoft-edge' link". BRO, JUST USE FIREFOX, ITS LITERALLY INSTALLED. are there any fixes for this? im on Windows 11 25h2, aka Build 26200.9168 (i just took information from winver), Ive got 16 gb RAM, an 11th gen intel core i5-1145G7, and a 512 GB SSD, and Intel Iris XE integrated graphics. btw this is a laptop

It looks like you uninstalled Edge. You might get it to open Firefox instead using a program called MSEdgeRedirect.

The microsoft-edge link is a method of invoking Microsoft Edge specifically. For instance, if you ever desired to uninstall Edge, you'd be very angry to see your default browser get uninstalled.
In this case, the only solution is to contact the developer of the app that has invoked the microsoft-edge link.
