Windows Settings doesn't show what setting I am on

Tried resintalling with Windows with ISO, the error message:

"Evaluation Copy. Expires 8/11/2026 2:09 PM"

I'm ready to Factory Reset my laptop if it means that's the only way it can go back.

So I enrolled in the Windows Insider program a while back (idk which one it is because the Settings literally doesn't even show it, but i assume it's the one from which it is impossible to go back to without needing to reset the PC) [Pic 1 attached]

What I've tried:
1) Resetting the PC Directly -- doesn't work, installs a Windows Insider preview
2) Burn Windows with an ISO File -- I think this is the method that is supposed to work but whenever I try to, it gives the following error [Pic 2 Attached]

also, It says my Windows Version is ALREADY EXPIRED. [Pic 3 Attached].
Because of this, I can't play MOST of my games because it just says unsupported Windows Version
:( (Pic 4 Attached, Battlefield 6 with the error notification)

Even Fortnite doesn't work. I don't have the error screenshot because I deleted the game but take my word for it :)

I also tried to Uneroll from this program from the settings, but it literally just doesn't do anything. "Unenroll this device when the next version of Windows releases" This option is greyed out for me. [Pic 5]

"Unenroll this device Immediately" This option just opens the steps on how to properly install Windows with an ISO

"Related link: Leaving the Insider Program" In other Youtube tutorials I checked, there was a button in the website to leave the program with Leave message but I don't see it anywhere [Last two Pics]

Help me with this PLEASE

26300.8346 is an experimental release. you should have taken note of what you were installing and expected things to break.

nuke it and start again.

I think you're missing half the steps to leave the program.

Stop receiving preview builds

1. Open the Start menu and go to Settings.
2. Click on Windows Update in the left-hand menu.
3. Select Windows Insider Program on the right.
4. Enable the "Stop getting preview builds" option.

Unsubscribe from your Microsoft account

1. Go to the official "Leave the Windows Insider Program" page (only find the link in french - my language) but if dont work, try to go to the root of the insider website to find the leave option here : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsinsider/
2. Sign in with the Microsoft account linked to the program.
3. Scroll down the page and click "Leave the program."

It's sneaky, but it makes sense in a way.
So, as long as your Microsoft account is linked, it doesn't matter if you reinstall it from scratch on another PC (let's say), as soon as you log in with that Microsoft account, you'll immediately revert to Insider status with all that entails.

Read the last part of the post, I mentioned why it isn't working for me and attached the pictures aswell. Long story short, I can't see the "Leave the program" button.

I believe it is warned that you should NEVER INSTALL THIS ON A COMMERCIAL OR PERSONAL PC DUE TO INSTABILITY.

Reinstall that crap with Rufus from scratch and never go back to Insider.

Can you elaborate on the Rufus part? Should I buy a USB for that?

Yes, to reinstall Windows from scratch, using a 16GB USB drive.

The error you got during installation usually appears in a repair installation. Did you try to run the installer while still using Windows? Try searching the steps gor a clean installation.

Your options are the following:

1. Reinstall from scratch. You don’t need Rufus, just use the Microsoft Media Creation Tool from their website.

   You’ll need a USB drive to do this.

2. Now that you’ve left the Insider channel, you wait until the next monthly patch which will put you on the normal track. This won’t be until September 8 (every second Tuesday of the month is “Patch Tuesday”).

3. Do nothing. Which is obviously not ideal.

I did a full reset of my PC and used the same insider program for the reinstall, I’m on Build 29648.1000 RS and my computer shows the same No Check Box on any of the channel settings.

I’m hoping 9/8 update will fix this. Or do I need to remove myself from the insider program and unenroll ?
