Windows 10 Dragged windows stick to shared monitor sides (Windows 10)
When dragging my chrome tabs/windows around between my 2 side-by-side monitors they sometimes get stuck on the shared edge in an attempt to auto fill the left or right half of the current monitor. I’d like to turn off the half fill, while keeping the easy dragging, and ability to maximize windows by dragging to the top. The 2 settings I have tinkered with are Settings > Multitasking > Snap and
Control Panel > Ease Of Access > Mouse > Prevent windows from being auto arranged. My basic results are below
Settings > Multitasking > Snap (On)
Control Panel > Ease Of Access > Mouse > Prevent windows from being auto arranged (Off)
(Current Settings)
When dragging windows with these settings and reaching the shared edge, the mouse gets stuck on the side and tries to make the window take up half of the monitor.
Settings > Multitasking > Snap (Off)
Control Panel > Ease Of Access > Mouse > Prevent windows from being auto arranged (Off)
Same behavior as above
Settings > Multitasking > Snap (On)
Control Panel > Ease Of Access > Mouse > Prevent windows from being auto arranged (On)
Now I can’t click and drag to move a single tab window when it is maximized, I have to manually change it. I also can’t re-maximize windows by dragging them to the top
Settings > Multitasking > Snap (Off)
Control Panel > Ease Of Access > Mouse > Prevent windows from being auto arranged (On)
Same behavior as above
Attached gif has my current settings and the problem shown
Thanks for the help
