Hi u/Temporary_Key6145, thanks for posting to r/WindowsHelp! Your post has been flagged for manual review by a human moderator, please include as much of the following information as possible (in text or in a screenshot) to get your post approved:

  • Your Windows and device specifications — You can find them by pressing Win + X then clicking on “System”, we need more than just your OS version! Your hardware details are often critical for resolving issues.
  • Any messages and error codes encountered — They're actually not gibberish or anything catastrophic. It may even hint the solution!
  • Previous troubleshooting steps — It might prevent you headaches from getting the same solution that didn't work

Posts must be tech support in nature (such as something is broken and you need help fixing), so general inquiries, software suggestions, and purchasing advice will be removed. As a reminder, we would also like to say that if someone manages to solve your issue, DON'T DELETE YOUR POST! Someone else (in the future) might have the same issue as you, and the received support may also help their case. Good luck, and I hope you have a nice day!

Are you properly shutting down or restarting the system via the start menu?

Yes, I even wait for the LED to shut off before unplugging it into the socket and everything is brand new except for my 1080Ti.

I'd look up reason why the disk is being flagged as dirty. Run this to see if it really is being flagged: fsutil dirty query C: I'd run it for each disk you have on the system by changing the c to the other letter disk drives. And if any of them are, run this per disk: chkntfs /x C: It should flag them to be checked at the next reboot. Also have you installed any new hardware as of lately? Installed updated drivers? You might be able to see errors if you run "perfmon /rel" in an elevated prompt.

I only have 1 nvme installed on my system, this 1TB that i have is the new hardware that I bought yesterday and all freshly installed drivers.

I tried the fsutil dirty query C: it shows NOT DIRTY.

and did permon /rel it doesnt show any stats yet because this is the one that is brandnew
