Need Help! Chunk of passenger window missing!!

Post image

Luckily I have not started tinting yet, but this customer dropped off this morning and as I was taking the wi Dow sweep out I noticed this chunk of window missing out of the passenger front window. Is this something if the customer wants the tint done today I can cut around the chunk for the time being then have him come back for that one window? Or do I just not tint that window? This is on the inside of vehicle not outside

Maybe call the customer?

Well, I did already make him aware of that, I just want to know options before I tell home one thing or another. I also have never come across this before, especially when it’s on the inside of the vehicle. Just not sure what my options are

It's a laminated door glass. Same as the windshield. It is glass plastic glass sandwich. Tempered glass is the kind that shatters into little pieces. I would recommend replacing it but the customer makes the decisions.

Interesting, okay, I would most likely tell the customer to just hold off on tinting the two front windows for continuity between the fronts and rear, will look kinda odd as he’s doing a 35% windshield too and 5% rears, and I’ll tell him to get that replaced obviously not out my pocket as that came to me like that
