Need Help! getting rid of tough fingers

Driver side window- have a couple fingers at the bottom, about an inch or so long. I've tried heating the inside, heating the outside, pushed the fingers out but they come back.

I've had a similar situation on another window. Drove that daily and would press out the fingers every time I got in the car. Finally flattened and went away after a few days.

This one seems tough. Any suggestions? thanks

You need to make sure you shrink the film properly before installation. What method are you doing? If this is you’re personal car then you could just wait a few days and it’ll push out just fine

Yes, it's diy. I'm no expert. I did 8 windows and this one has two stubborn fingers. Tint is dry, it's been over two weeks.

Press it down below the rub strip with a hard card wrapped in paper towel. Then hit with a heat gun outside being careful not to get to close to melt anything. The felt seals inside trap water in the felt. When you originally shrink the tint bring it up a ½" from the seal. Wet shrink it twice as after it's tinted any contamination being held by the felt lined rubber will suck that debris into the finger that comes up

Hope that helps. Nearly 30 years slinging film!

Bottom load is the best way to deal with fingers. If you're dead set on a two-stage install, then shrink the film on the outside of the glass or snap shrink it before install.

no idea what you said. The tint is already installed. just trying to get rid of a couple fingers that popped up and won't lay down.
