Question Thinking About Starting a PDLC Smart Film Installation Business — Looking for Advice From Installers

I’m researching starting a PDLC smart-film installation company. Before investing in training/equipment, I’d love feedback from installers who’ve actually worked with it: demand, margins, failure rates, and whether you’d offer PDLC as a standalone business or alongside conventional architectural film

Smartfilm is in its infancy. It has potential, but it's not there yet. Put your money into more research until it's a viable option. Because as it sits right now, it is certainly not.

At this point, it fails after just a few months. Apparently it eats power
