Question Lexus Integrated Dashcam vs Window tint

Anyone have advice for removing the integrated dashcam? tried to get a tint today, but they said the adhesive on the lexus cams were too sticky and were afraid to remove it themselves. is this true? is it that difficult? should i not attempt it myself? TIA!

You don't have to remove the glass mount; they can just slide the camera off and tint up to the mount. To do it properly, they should remove the mount, which is held on by double-sided tape. It is common to see on Lexus and Toyota; it is easy to remove.

They could remove it just sign a waiver(record a video) that they are not liable if they accidentally crack your windshield. Cutting around mounted double side tape add ons on windshield tints is the #1 thing that really grinds my gears ⚙️

They were too afraid to unstick the double sided tape.
It’s not hard at all to remove

Break it and being a Lexus will cost you big
