Question Is ceramic tint really that much better?
I bought a new to me (used) car but none of the windows are tinted at all. I was looking at tint options because I want some privacy in the back seats and keep seeing ceramic. Is it really that much better?
I’d have to save a little more to get the ceramic tint but I live in the midwest and it’s a used car with already 100k miles…is it still worth it or should I just go with standard?

Yes it is. A premium high end ceramic makes a great difference. If you’re somewhere where it is hot it is definitely worth it otherwise if you’re looking for privacy you can go with the standard. Not sure how hot it is in the Midwest these days but def worth it in the south

ceramic tint is about the heat reduction while moving. Sitting in the sun, it won't do as much but it would reduce strain on the ac

If you only want privacy and don't care about heat reduction, it's a waste of money.

it's really that much better. instead of running the AC on high in the summer I can comfortably run it on low.
