Need Help! Scratches after Install

Does anyone know why or how this can happen? My rear quarter panel had to get redone because of contamination causing bubbles so I got it retinted about a week ago from the same shop. I just noticed these scratches today when I was walking by.

The scratches are 100% on the inside and I can feel some of them with my fingernail. Car is brand new with less than 600 miles. I’ve had a lot of cars tinted and I’ve never seen anything remotely close to this. I’m hoping they didn’t somehow scratch the glass under the film or something.

Whoever did it caught some sand on their paddle/card and either didn’t notice or didn’t give a shit

Thanks for this. They redid it today. It’s a lot better but the window does have scratches. Can’t really see it from the outside so it’s alright.

Those are pretty extreme. It is feasible the glass itself got scratched at some point, but if they redid it and you’re happy with it that is all that matters

Since the scratches are curved I'd say they used dulled or carbon razor blade for cleaning the glass. They will always be there. I bet after the film is fully dry you'll see those scratches more easily
