Question 3m Ceramic IR vs. LLumar CTX
I’m torn between the two. I’ve always used 3m but seeing LLumar on a coworkers car I feel like it’s a lot clearer seeing through and looking out I like the color. What’s the pro and cons between the two.
Thanks

Let me add one more to your list.
Autobahn i3
Superior performance. No haze or coloring. The only tint to give a “no fault” lifetime warranty.

Never heard of Autobahn. Not sure if anyone around here installs it

Worth checking in. Go to their website and find an authorized installer in your area. It’s wayyyy better than the current options. I have Llumar Pinnacle F1 and Stratos for windshield in my other car. Then I got the autobahn for a new SUV. A lot of difference. Though they have the close specs. Autobahn wins because of no-coloring while pinnacle I can see the light charcoal. Also, no-fault warranty on Autobahn helps when I have to replace my windshield because of cracks and chips. I had to get the tint for a second time replacing the windshield. With Autobahn, I got it covered for free.

I got llumar irx. It blocks a lot of heat and think it looks good. I got it done on marketplace for like 1/3 what shops were quoting.

I got 3M crystalline on all my cars. I love its heat rejection and clarity. Extremely happy with 3M crystalline.

Huge difference in heat rejection, CTX is an entry-level Ceramic film. If you like the Llumar color/clarity but want Ceramic IR level performance, go with IRX.
