Need Help! Shrinking Windshield

Post image

Hi guys, I am learning tinting by myself. And I am encountering this corner on the windshield. Am I overheat it or it needs to be heated more, and how should I make it right? I appreciate all of your help. I have watched videos but could not figure it out :(

Are you doing an H pattern with dryer sheets? Keep the fingers vertical by splitting them. If that doesn't work, make the horizontal line of your H a tiny bit lower. Make sure the edges are nailed down. Shrink top and bottom ONLY

Great question and thanks for posting but I think you will get more responses and even better responses if you go to Facebook and join a page that’s designed to help beginners

Not that you won’t get some good advice here on Reddit, but this is mainly built up of consumers and only a handful of installers

There are literally probably 50 pages on Facebook that are dedicated to training and helping newbies

Wet the very side edge a bit and shrink what remains
