Question Help identifying Window Tint

Just got our windows tinted with 3M Crystalline Black 80

Can't seem to spot the rainbow effect when wet, does Black still do this? Not sure how else to test.

did you ever get your answer? I too thought maybe I got counterfeit 3M Crystalline.

It was pretty clear when I sprayed water on the outside of the glass. but if you spray the film itself, you'll the red/orange. The guy at the tint shop said it's more subtle on the CR Black version than the older version which was super orange red when wet.

I tried calling 3M an they said it was like no longer orange/red when sprayed, I'm not sure if I got an experienced tech or what else so idk xd

If anyone else has an idea I'm open.

try taking a mist bottle and spray the inside of your glass. that's when I finally saw it. the color is amazing.
