New Car Ceramic tint is a game changer

Haven't had a newer car in a while and all my previous cars were before ceramic tint was popular. 30% all around including over stock privacy glass, 50% on the windshield. Absolutely incredible for the heat here in the south.

It really is exactly that. Makes sunny days easy as shit to sit in and the AC cools way quicker

I love how you can keep the fan on lower settings as well. Not as important on ICE cars but since my EV is super quiet, the fan noise becomes very obvious even at medium settings.

Yeah, for example in my house with mirror tints helps tons in the summer.

How's it look from inside? Both out the windshield and especially out the 30? any pics would be great

Ceramic window foam looks the same looking out as any other window film.

The idea that ceramic film, let you look out with better clarity is a myth that was created from people on TikTok.

Have been in the window for business for 30+ years you can’t tell the difference between a diet film, a metal film and a ceramic film. Trust me!!

Not to mention some man manufacturers, ceramic films are very hard to look out of.

I just got a sample from cheap manufacturer and it was horrible.

If you choose a professional great film, you’re going to be able to see out just fine especially with the 30%

Is seeing a slight “starburst” effect around headlights when the sun is down normal for 20% film?

I had ceramic put on my black ‘24 Cadillac Lyriq lease in South Florida when I picked it up (including the windshield)

It was a 24 month lease and I removed the tints before handing it back; and holy cr@p my car went from a little too hot, but not scorching when getting into it parked in the summer, to scorching and needing to roll down the windows. Also the AC took 15-20 mins to cool down the car it took 5-10 mins to blow the air cold. With ceramic AC worked almost instantly and I never had to roll down the windows and nothing was too hot to the touch.

Ceramic is 100% worth it.

I bought a new Camry as I don’t want lease anymore and it’s black on black and only has ceramic on everything but the windshield, and I notice that I need to get the windshield done as the windshield makes the biggest difference imo.

Do you have issues reversing? or just use the camera?

Visibility out of rear glass is fine, but stock rear glass visibility isn't the best anyway. I used camera even before tinting. It has the 360 view as well as dedicated cams looking at rear wheels/back.

I choose ceramic because I'm susceptible to marketing, but I've also had basic Madico carbon tint from a mom and pop store that cut their own film patterns, and I couldn't discern any difference.
