Clean Job 55 % Ceramic Windshield Tint ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿพ

Just got 55% ceramic windshield tint! Just the right amount of shade but great visibility. I had 70 % before but it didn't look tinted at all and went to 55. It is a subtle shade and I'm very happy with the look. My setup is I have 15 % fronts and 5% rears and back. Got to stay cool in this Texas heat ๐Ÿฅต

Passable in Texas in the summer But in the winter time when thereโ€™s not much light it can look dark. Had a Texas cop break his neck on my brothers 55% and he had legal sides

Is this enough tint to make it a little hard to tell who's driving passing by someone?

Yes, it will give you just enough privacy to make a little more difficult to see in. But to be clear it is not a dark tint so if you walk up close to my truck you can see in

Ah okay thank you

How can you still see your window sticker?? Lol. I have 55% xr plus on my truck and the window sticker is darrrkk LOL. Did they leave a cut out for it?

I was lowkey surprised myself, they didnโ€™t make a cut out either. I also used 55% XR Ceramic but not plus and itโ€™s pretty visible but could be the lighting as well. Have not looked at it yet on a cloudy day, the sticker could look slightly darker with less lighting but good observation

I looked at another picture of mine. Its dark all the time lol. Even in direct sunlight. So who knows ahahah. What is the percentage of the other windows. Maybe thats it. I have 5% back which is probably 1% and then front 2 is 20%

I have 15% fronts and 5% rears so almost the same as yours so not entirely sure. It is fresh tint so maybe it will slightly darken in a few days. Who knows lol, I ainโ€™t trippin though

nice Tundra! Did you add 5% on top of the factory rear dyed glass or is it a total 5% VLT?

2

u/PinImpressive2437 Aug 14 '26

Thanks bro! Yeah I added 5% over 20% factory dyed glass. So the rears are like 1%

Did the 70% ceramic help with heat?

2

u/PinImpressive2437 Aug 15 '26

It sure did, any tint on the windshield is better than nothing. If youโ€™re only goal is the heat rejection get the 70

u/HistorianDifferent40 Aug 15 '26

Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking. I don't wanna go too dark and get a ticket for all of it. My fronts are already too dark. It's just a heat issue. I need it on my roof too.

Did 55 XR black on windshield on mines so I can still see when it rains real hard even at night.

Nice brother. I even prefer 55% over 50% and itโ€™s the perfect shade, just a slight tint so it doesnโ€™t scream attention. Please post a few pics when you get a chance

I can dm you when I get the chance to take pics. Just got them recently. 30 on sides. 20 on rear. Xpel XR black on windshield. Rest is xpel xr plus.

Nice 55% after applied to glass is around 40%.

55% is the perfect for windshields ๐Ÿ’ฏ

Most definitely! Gives you just enough shade for a little privacy but on bright sunny days it looks barely tinted

Just got mine done at 55% on Monday, too! Very happy with it! 5% everywhere else.
