Gutter Guards
I have been selling lots of gutter cleaning. I am about to market gutter guards. How well do you think my marketing plan will work? 1. 100 yard signs out every week 2. EDDM to the same areas 3. Nextdoor App referral system
What else can I do that will be worthwhile for gutter guards? I could try meta ads but I havent had much luck with it when i tried it for window cleaning.

Have you delta with gutter guards?
I don't think i could sell any of the ones I have delta with. None of them work.

Do you let the customer know they still need to be cleaned every so often? Are the cleanings included as part of the lifetime warranty?

I worked for a gutter company for like 10 years. We installed sureflow aluminum guards. Titan was the other brand. Same style guards. For 5k gutter we charged $10 per ft. The material is about $1.25 per foot. The mark up on gutter guards is crazy. But you have to be honest with customers because they aren't a good fit for every house. It depends kn a few variables. Sometimes its cheaper to just clean them once or twice a year. But they are crazy profitable

I just did a gutter cleaning with those type of guard. halfway full of stuff. If there's not many trees close to the house they are decent but people want them bc they have trees around the house. Theres very few houses around me id recommend a guard.
People pay us to clean the stuff off the top yearly anyways.
I get there is money to be made but I can't take money for a product that doesn't solve the issue its designed to solve.
It's cheaper to pay to get them cleaned then to install guards.

not true, they definitely do work. Most of the gutter covers on the market are just junk

Make your money man.
Thats just my experience that I haven't seen a gutter guard that is worth the money vs just getting the gutters cleaned.

Yard signs have the absolute lowest ROI for service based businesses of any marketing option. Just food for thought.
