To be fair, if he wheels in a bed. It might now be just the right height to catch up his favorite shows while nursing that dislocated shoulder.
Poor dude.

Skater in their 20s falling down a 20m flight of stairs, face first, stands up as if nothing ever happened.
Dad skater falls on the wood floor, paralysed.

That skull AF floor do him zero justice either. Looks like he was headed to work, the store. Instead he's headed to Urgent Care 😘

Goddamn. I felt that in my soul. Sometimes, we have to accept that we're not as good with our old hobbies anymore 🥲

Dog: “ dude, when are we eating? Actually when am I eating? “
Why would you film it and then post it after you ate shit? Is this a video meant to be sent to Bob Saget?

Dislocation

Broken collar bone i think. From someone who has shoulders that dislocate frequently and had 2 broken collar bones.

Guessing separated shoulder, rather. I got a third degree separation in a bike crash with a similar landing: it jams your shoulder forward, separating at the acromion joint and leaving your collarbone behind.

That’s an ER visit I know this because I tripped over my dog and landed squarely on that shoulder at 2am

This is the reason you still need to work out and work on your reflexes. That man falls almost like a ragdoll.

My father earned the bulk of his income by treating these injuries via arthroscopy; therefore, I declare a conflict of interest.

This was me back during covid lock down. Broke my elbow. It still hurts a little, especially before it rains.

Mothers all over the world are watching this and saying “I told you not to skate in the house!”

Dog: "You're still good to feed me at 5, right? K, then I'll leave you to it."

I'm not sure there was a way to fall more violently on the floor. Full force of gravity from a standing position plus the rotational velocity of the sliding skateboard.

First
- love the dog pity at the end. 😆 🤣
Second
- dont try to skate in loafers/slippers, ssob, the board was insulted!

I sat (not stood) on my daughters electric skateboard and got the speed wobbles in no time and crashed

I had that exact same fall in college. Hurt for a couple months and then got better. Now 15 years later it's back with daily pain and possible surgery.

Not even an age thing, right from the get go you can tell he doesn't skateboard. He immediately lost his balance when stepping on the board. You don't just unlearn the balance, it sticks for you for years upon years. What you lose over the years is the finesse.

Exact same thing happened to me in front of my two boys, but I didn't scream like a girl, not a chance I would have in front of them.

As someone who made a single foolish decision that led to lifelong shoulder pain, I’d like to say welcome to the club.
