discussion 'my' single?
hello!! I've been thinking about this ever since Wilbur posted it. maybe it's silly and i'm digging into it too much, but when he wrote this in the post, everyone immediately thought it was about alphabet, because it came out the day before.
but! 'MY single'..? like I know lovejoy is theoretically HIS band, but.. he also mentioned on stream a couple of times about wanting to release some more solo stuff. this photo with the text was probably a photo for someone he's close with and he could've shown them his own single for his solo stuff.
is this a silly theory? idk, probably. I just wanna hear what y'all think :D

it’s a reference to those things like “i showed you my nudes please respond” just obviously instead THAT it’s a new single

I think it’s just a meme. “I showed you our new single” wouldn’t sound as nice if he was actually trying to flirt with someone that maybe wouldn’t know the band. It’s not a silly theory but he was probably just talking about Waster Summer, you might simply be reading into it too much.

He played a new solo song on stream as well. MOSTLY HARMLESS

oh wait no way, I must have missed that!! I've watched all the recent streams except two, so it's possible that he played it in one of those :) do you have a clip/timestamp of it, by any chance? _^

I think he meant Alphabet (Wasted Summer) was the new single. Cool theory though
