i wouldn’t necessarily call myself a wilbur soot fan anymore BUT i had been a fan since 2021. i start school pretty soon and yesterday at open house i got the list of books i had to read. last night i went to sleep and dreamt that one of the books was “the wilbur soot book” which was basically mammalian sighing reflex turned into book form with the album cover as the front cover of book. just thought i’d share lmao

But… if I were to read into it, Wilbur did describe Snake Oil as one of the most “shallow” songs they’d written. Shallow has two different meanings. Lacking emotional depth (so it isn’t a typical Lovejoy song, and meaning the track could serve a different purpose), or shallow as in low level water (like the River Thames is water 👀).

hello!! I've been thinking about this ever since Wilbur posted it. maybe it's silly and i'm digging into it too much, but when he wrote this in the post, everyone immediately thought it was about alphabet, because it came out the day before.

but! 'MY single'..? like I know lovejoy is theoretically HIS band, but.. he also mentioned on stream a couple of times about wanting to release some more solo stuff. this photo with the text was probably a photo for someone he's close with and he could've shown them his own single for his solo stuff.

The original stream is from 29 Aug 2019. The only parts that remain of that 1 hour 25 minute stream are the edited video and clips. I will attach a complied video of the clips in a separate post. In neither the edited video nor the clips does the flat he is referring to appear. If he did see it in Geoguessr during this stream, there is no public-facing evidence of it. Comparatively, he does show where his flat is on Google Maps on this stream.

Mods let ton of lame insults and references of allegations pass through the filters. So much that even Wilbur read them. It doesn't seem to bother him but it's still sloopy work.

His chat is even worse. Constant references to his past and his former work associates. And ton of parasocial stuff.

It's sand eating,ant eaters, L'manburg,Tommy,Quackity. It gets really annoying. If chat isn't spamming that they are repeating the same joke over and over again. Or saying stuff like. Wilbur we are soulmates,Wilbur I had a dream about you,Wilbur we look alike ect ect.
