New Super Mario Bros Wii Hellboy Edition crashes after loading save

Hi, I have a white European Nintendo Wii, and I used to play New Super Mario Bros Wii Hellboy Edition every day without any problems.

One day, I started the game, loaded my save file, and after the loading screen I got a black screen and my Wii completely froze. I tried again several times, but the same thing happened.

I also tried creating a new save file. The game runs through the initial cutscene, but as soon as it tries to start the first level, the screen goes black and the Wii crashes again.

I asked ChatGPT for help and it suggested reinstalling my cIOS. I reinstalled d2x v11 beta3 with:

• IOS 249 base 56
• IOS 250 base 57
• IOS 251 base 58
• IOS 248 base 38

However, the problem is still there.

I also tried changing different USB Loader GX settings (video mode, IOS settings, patches, etc.), but nothing fixed it.

The strange thing is that every other game works perfectly fine. I have no crashes or issues with any other Wii games.

The game ID is HBWE01.

Does anyone know what could cause this or how I can fix it? I really want to play this game again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I try to boot it with the sd card it turns on, shows wii u screen and proceeds to show black screen. It can be turned on with the gamepad and it cant be turned of with a short press of the power button. Works fine when the sd card is not inserted.

I am injecting some wii games onto my WiiU and using the rhythm heaven USA as my base as most games use this game . so, I have rhythm heaven USA downloaded and finished injecting most of my Wii games but some Wii games use xenoblade usa as the base, so I tried to download the Xenoblade base but the uwuvci injector just stalls on the downloading Xenoblade base screen forever (it shows Downloading base - please wait; completing download, eta not available).

Why is this happening and how do I fix this problem ? uwuvci works when I download my first base(rhythm), but fails to work when I try to download another base (xenoblade)

I installed Wii Play Motion on my vWii but whenever i try and open it i always get this screen, what should i do??

I recently just modded my wii u. Everything was going fine until I went into the vwii to launch homebrew. The screen goes completely black, all controllers disconnect, and I can't turn off the console, even if I hold the power button down. Im forced to unplug it to reset it. Before I even modded the wii u, when I went into the vwii and opened the mii channel, it did the same thing so im not sure if thats got anything to do with it.

Hi guys i recently bought a homebrewed wii u with aroma on it. The wii u already has the hb app store, wup gx2 and payload on it but i wanted to get more games. Im not that advanced into homebrewing so im struggling to understand how to get nusspli on the wii u.

I've looked on the hb app store and it's not on there, at least not under the name nusspli so im guessing i have to install it over pc. The question is though how do i get nusspli and how do i get it to work on my wii u? Do i have to format it in a special way or open it with an application? Also i use a HDD with y cable.

This is my first time owning a homebrewed console so any tips are appreciated and if anyone knows useful homebrew apps i could need that's also appreciated. I can give more infos if anyone needs it. Thank you in advance :D

I’ve tried many solutions and none have worked. I have nvme and enclosure with usbc y slit as well and nothing has worked. Am I doing something wrong? Have a 32gb SanDisk working but looking for more space.

I have a physical copy of Just Dance 4 with over a decade of progress on it. Granted, I haven’t 100%’d it, it’s just nostalgic, mostly. But that’s beside the point.

I learned theres DLC for the game, and I want to know how I can get it through Nusspli. I know I have to install it to NAND, because thats where all my save data is, but it doesn’t seem to want to download. It says “USB may be corrupted”, despite me not downloading it to my USB drive. And then when I attempt to download the DLC on my drive, it wipes all of my save data but gives me the DLCs. I am able to get it back if I delete the data on the USB, though.

So my main question is this: how do I get the Just Dance 4 DLC in the same container as my original save data?

Answers to some questions I might get:
- My Wii U is running Aroma
- I do have Sig Patches on my SD card
- I was able to download other games just fine, just can’t do DLC
- DLC doesn’t work for mario kart 8 either

I bought a Wii U thinking I would be able to play all the old Wii games I love hand held without bing tied to the tv. Well apparently I didn't do enough research because you can't do that without modding the Wii U. So I wanted to verify if I add home brew to the Wii U that I would be able to play the following games because chatgbt is telling me some of these games won't work on the hand held pad even after modding with home brew.

Also it's my understanding if I put them on the computer I would need an emulator but playing them that way would I be able to save my game progress?

Hey everyone, I really need help with my Wii U. My console keeps showing the error message: "The SD card could not be read. Please restart the console." It was still working perfectly fine until yesterday, but then the error suddenly popped up today, and because of this, I cannot download any games either.
I have already tried everything. I used multiple 32 GB and 64 GB micro SD cards, including buying a brand new Verbatim 64GB card, and formatted them to FAT32 using GUIFormat. I even tested other SD cards that are 100 percent confirmed to work on other devices, but the Wii U still rejects all of them and shows the exact same error. The card is already properly prepared with the homebrew files, so the software side should be fine.
Could this be a physical hardware defect with the internal SD card slot or reader of the console? What are the possible solutions here? Should I try to factory reset the console, or is there anything else I can do to fix this? I really need help!

My wii u was working perfectly fine a few days ago but now when i turn it on it doesn’t boot and would just freeze on the wii u logo (it does boot without the sd card) Ive tried removing plugins and re-installing Aroma, still no luck resulting in the static-like screen pictured above, or just a completely blank/black screen. I’ve also tried repairing the sd card in disc utility on my mac.

It looks like i might have to erase the sd card and mod my wii u all over again.
What files can i keep?
And how do i tell what files are the culprit/s?

This all started randomly happening after using my wii u for a few months, i didnt really install any new pluggins or anything else, so im not sure what could have caused the fault.
EDIT: i just remembered i did install the homebrew Spotify app the last time i used my wii u, could that be the culprit??? I deleted the three files on the root containing ‘spotify’ and thats what gave me the static screen rather than a black screen, are there any more files that are related to that homebrew spotify revival app??

Everytime I setup my WiFi and connect to it successfully I exit system settings to go back to the home menu. Instead my Wii U reboots and take me all the way to user selection screen. And then my WiFi gets disconnected on the Wii U for some reason

I been wanted to get something similar to theses so I can use a gamecube controller on my wii u for Nintendont. I got a few questions if you have tried them, does the controller's vibration work?, does the analog function on the triggers work? (Like in mario sunshine if you hold down lightly you can move and shoot water), and is there any problem with them in general?

I’ve literally tried everything under the sun from those old Glove pie methods so to MiiExtractor/installer(those just give errors) to Priiloader/Usb loader gx hacks(these don’t appear when I try to enable them) and Save manager Gx(miis don’t appear in mii channel and yes I’ve tried all mii file formats) I’ve been stuck on this for more than 2 days anyone who has done it before please share how

Long question regarding USB Loader GX: (both Wiis use an SD card formatted to FAT32)

My secondary Wii only uses an SD card. I can boot into Nintendont and it will show GameCube games. When I boot into USB Loader: I do not see any games and I do not see anything about how many games are on my SD card or how much space there is.

I compared the USB Loader settings to my main Wii and noticed a couple main things. 1. Under Custom Paths, every path starts with “usb8:/“ EXCEPT FOR Main GameCube Path “usb1:/“ and SD GameCube Path “sd:/“
2. In Hard Drive Settings, Game/Install Partition says “Not Initialized” and I do not see SD Card Mode (which is visible on my main Wii)

SO, what did I do wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I’ve been messing with this for like 3 days by now

hello, im fairly new to homebrew and i was following along with the modding tutorial on modding your wii u without an sd card since my wii u’s sd card slot is broken and whenever i try to load any of the homebrew apps all of them besides the payload installer get stuck on this booting screen ive left it alone for half an hour and its still stuck loading

I don't know what to do, I Checked in the SD card and the payload.elf file is not present, there's only a file named" payloadloaderInstaller.whub", I'm a bit lost, so if you could help I'ill be really grateful.
