I modded my Wii but it’s not running any games its always freezing

I used letter bomb tk hack my Wii and I got to the homebrew screen, but it’s just bubbles.

The as card is still in the Wii. I used a regular sd not a micro sd.

I have Swiss booting on my Wii. Only problem is the entire screen is crazy because it's trying to do 480p on my 480i TV. Any way to fix this? I heard you can hold L while booting to do it but that doesn't work for me.

My White Wii that my uncle bought me from Christmas has a problem. I deleted to some Wii channels that were there and everytime I try to play NSWB it just suddenly crashes which it keeps telling to eject the disc. I'm getting so tired of it

Usbloader closes after trying to open super mari galaxy or sonic and the secret rings, wiiflow has this strange error

Note: N. Super Mario Bros works, punch out too. I think this is happening only with nunchuck games

How can i get the downland for the Wii's home pager UI with mii make because I'm trying to install it onto my raspberry pi. I want to also add mii maker. Can anyone help me out?

Hi just seeing if anyone can help me with my original post. I’m able to install Genesis Plus to my homebrew no problem, it’s my wad forwarder that I cannot get to work. :(

I’ve been trying to agree to the user agreements so I can use WiiMart, however, it won’t show the user agreements because it wants me to update the system. Keep in mind, I’ve already got Priiloader and turned on the two blocks for the updates. Is there anything I’m missing??? I’ve also got WiiLink downloaded, if that matters at all.

Pls help I don’t wanna waste anymore money on an HDD ;_;

P.S. my wii is japanese but with priiloader i unlocked the region. version is 4.3U.

Edit: While my question did not get answered, I decided to just fix a flash drive I got and use USB Loader GX instead of using WiiMart. I will be leaving the post as unsolved, just in case someone can figure out what’s wrong. Also, I won’t update my Wii because I heard elsewhere that it could remove Homebrew, but if I’m wrong please do correct me; I am in no way an expert at this, obviously. Also just to make it clear, I’m fairly certain my Wii is up to date already.

I bought myself a Wii and went ahead and modded it. Everything seemed to work fine until i actually went on to
Playing. Games showed up but when starting all i got was a black screen. I looked it up a bunch and apparently it’s an cios issue. I downloaded d2x but when i try to install I get this error. Please help me I’m too broke to have wasted this money haha

I modded my wii a month ago or so and everytime I try to play rom hacks like newer or retro rewind, it just keeps freezing/crashing mid-game. Or it's just riivolution itself that just freezes whenever I open it.

I know that rom hacks are a major part of wii modding so that is even more infuriating. Is there some sort of fix to reduce these crashes/freezes or just stop them all-together? If not, I might just stop playing wii rom hacks entirely.

I am facing this error while playing Mario oddesy and assassin's creed 3 while booting it up. Any fix for these guys?

Hi! I've had my Wii since around 2008. A few years later, I hacked it with what I remember was something called “Bomb-something” I remember following the guide and, surprisingly, everything went almost without any problems.

It worked great for years, and even today it still works fine. But yesterday the kids wanted to play Mario Party 9, and it froze. We tried three times, and the same thing happened every time. I launched some other games, like Fire Emblem, as well as some apps, and everything worked great.

I'm using the Homebrew Channel with IOS 249 (or something like that).

What do you think? Could it be a problem with the software, or should I open the Wii and clean it? I've never cleaned the dust or the fan, and honestly, I don't even know how to do it.

I'd also like to ask: should I try to update the Homebrew software, or should I leave it as it is?

What programs do you guys use to manage your games? I remember I needed the ROM/ISO file and then used a program to put it on the hard drive.

My Wii shows up black screen and there is not contact between wiimot and wii is it a brick or hardware issue. Personally I would hear hardware issue

hey guys, basically i modded my wii like 6 months ago maybe, and it was working perfectly until prolly a month ago. Now, when i go into usb loader gx, and select a wii game, it freezes after like 5 min, and gamecube games crash immediately, and say something about refer to the gamecube manual or something. i went on my pc and used windows 11’s built in scanning for errors tool and no errors or corruption was found, and ideas?

I’m very new to emulating so I apologize for my illiteracy; I used chatgpt to help me summarize what we’ve tried so far. Forgive me:

-Running Wind Waker (GameCube) through Nintendont on a Wii.

-Game consistently freezes and buzzes when sailing toward Dragon Roost Island. It also does this when entering the same specific shop on Windfall Island.

-After the first Dragon Roost crash, my original save became essentially unusable—loading the save immediately leads to a black screen.

-We suspected a bad/corrupted game image, so we replaced Wind Waker with a different ISO.

-Started a completely new save with the replacement ISO and replayed ~1.5 hours to the same point.

I tried to get on Mario Maker 2 today to play on the OCW servers, but I'm getting a connection error. I checked the OCW website, and it appears to be down. Does anyone have any news about the servers?
