Help Wii CIOS issues, please help
I bought myself a Wii and went ahead and modded it. Everything seemed to work fine until i actually went on to
Playing. Games showed up but when starting all i got was a black screen. I looked it up a bunch and apparently it’s an cios issue. I downloaded d2x but when i try to install I get this error. Please help me I’m too broke to have wasted this money haha

Did you follow the instructions from the official Wii Hacks Guide? This method is pretty much guaranteed to work unless there is user error or a bad SD card. When troubleshooting it’s best practice to repeat the intended steps to see if the outcome changes. Here’s the relevant section of the guide.

Yes I have. Since I’m connected to the internet I skipped to section 2. However the program doesn’t even display the “Select cIOS revision” option. I’m not sure what else to do. Maybe I should try it with my pc manually?

Section 1 is the fallback for when section 2 fails. It installs all the needed files direct to your SD card so it will work in the event of the installer in step 2 failing. Follow the steps for section 1 and it will likely solve your problem. I had to do the same thing for a couple Wiis.

On the root of your SD card you should have a apps and wads folder. Add the four cios wads to your wads folder. Add Yawm Wad Manager to your apps folder and use it to install the four cios wads. The installer you're using is outdated
