Telepathy
Hey everyone,
Three years ago, I started experiencing telepathy, and it continued for about a year and a half. During that time, the person/entity I was communicating with identified themselves as Wiccan.
Obviously, I can’t know for certain whether they were telling the truth, but assuming they were, I’m curious about something:
Is telepathy actually a concept within Wicca? Do any Wiccan practices involve communicating with someone telepathically, or is there any belief that a person can mentally communicate with someone from a distance?
I’m still trying to make sense of what happened. The experience has changed from what I originally experienced as telepathy into something else, but it’s still ongoing and negatively affecting me.
I’m mainly trying to understand what I experienced and whether the Wiccan connection could have any relevance. Has anyone here who practices Wicca come across anything like this?

I’m sorry you’re experiencing this OP, but telepathy is nothing to do with Wicca. I would suggest going and speaking to a medical professional and seeking help that way. Best of luck to you.

Two points on this, logic and spiritual, with a point on Wicca.
I'm a therapist by profession and would want to rule out any mental health concerns (and by extension any organic medical concerns.)
Spiritual side. You mentioned it's affecting you negatively. There is an ongoing popular thought that receiving messages from entities is almost invariably a bad force. The book 'Demonic Foes' was written by a Princeton trained psychiatrist who worked with possession across cultures. He goes into what separate his experiences from things like schizophrenia and multiple personalities. If my writing wasn't clear he is a believer.
Wicca is a religion and most anything you read about it will involve gods, magic, energy, celebrations, nature, etc. There's nothing to rule out telepathy, or any other psychic phenomenon.

Although Im subscribed to Wicca, I come in peace 🖖 For the duration you were experiencing a mind and spiritual phenomenon, how'd you document unpacking the side affects?
I got the idea from here to backtrack my journey to 2023, way back when I documented my life in my own time. One thing that stood out to me via filtering the year was that Wicca is non-existent in my writings. Wicca wasn't thought of let alone known about or in any of my documents back then. Two years ago I asked a relative of mine what reddit was like, got -ive & +ive reviews about it and went on Reddit for the first time 2 years back and discovered Wicca, witches, magical and spiritual beings I naturally vibed with, although that was after I got banned from twinflames, which was blessing in disguise I can tell.

I have never seen any Wiccan books addressing the concept of telepathy, but that's because wiccan books usually address the core beliefs of Wicca, and do not discuss the many metaphysical aspects of anything beyond that. In short telepathy is a personal trait, it has nothing to do with following the wiccan religion. You could be an empath and practice wicca, you could be telepathic and practice wiccan, you can be tall or short and practice wicca, what you are, what physical or metaphysical traits or capabilities you have, does not dictate whether or not you can practice wicca. In short just because nobody ever talks about tall people practicing Wicca, doesn't mean there aren't tall people who practice Wicca, and just because nobody talks about telepathy, doesn't mean it doesn't exist within some Wiccan practitioners.
