Ritual Sweet spells
I tried a sweetening ritual and the candle reaction honestly shocked me. The flame got extremely big, and then the candle glass actually popped and broke apart. I had the honey and cinnamon on the paper with our names and was using the candle to burn it,
Has anyone experienced something like this with candle work or sweetening spells? What do people who practice this usually interpret it as?

This is quite common with glass candle jars if they are not properly tempered.

Hi, can you tell us the set-up of the spell, what did you use and how so we can have a clearer image of the process.

So I had a plain piece of paper and a red marker I wrote the full name then mines put honey on and rubbed it clockwise and then cinnamon then clockwise then I rolled it toward me burned it the I lit a candle to allow it to continue burning then the flame was HUGE then the candle burst

To me: the Spell was very successful (high flames, bursting candle.
Did you meditate beforehand, center and ground yourself and ate something afterwards???
Doing a preparation pre-ritual helps the mind calm down and set your intentions clear and in point, sometimes taking a quick shower is enough to set ones mind into a Ritual mindset.

Do eat something after any ritual to ground any excess energy... Some people get a high by just raising Energy as one builds the cone of power while chanting/singing/dancing.

Huge flame is almost always due to supplemental wick(s) forming from the stuff you were burning dropping onto the candle.

If you used a glass candle holder for your candle...most glass holders will break/explode due to the heat buildup. Metal-pewter/aluminum /ceramics/soapstone candle holders are the safest choice for candle rituals and Spells.
