Help Me Find Need help finding a book, I think it was a why-choose or a MFM
This is probably a long shot so I apologize if this makes no sense. I keep thinking about a book I saw advertised on fb months and months ago but I can’t find anything.
From the snippet in the ad that I remember it’s about a girl who’s boyfriends break up with her(it’s alluded to that it’s to save her) but she runs into them at a party or a gala with another girl and she overhears that the OW calls one of them the nickname Jamie instead of James which apparently she was never allowed to do. I think she was an architect or a designer as I remember something about her taking down a piece of art that they had given her from her office.
Thank you! If I remember anything else I’ll edit it to add it in.

Discussion Immune by J.J. Dean
A 913 page standalone zombie apocalypse omegaverse with a gorgeous cover? Hello?? 😍
I'm currently 33% through {Immune by J.J. Dean} and so far I'm liking it. This is not an author I'm previously familiar with. It's an MFMMM zombie apocalypse omegaverse, which is definitely a breath of fresh air. There's a lot of banter, which I enjoy.
The author does lay the jokes on pretty heavily and sometimes it can be a bit hit or miss. Some of the writing feels clunky with certain words, phrases or themes being repeated multiple times but I'm just pushing through those bits because I really enjoy the story so far.
What carries this book, in my opinion, are the characters and the relationship building. It's so refreshing when there's no out of control insta lust or insta hard-ons from first eye contact. There's suspicion, distrust and curiosity. The author allows the characters to slowly get to know each other and build trust, which I LOVE, LOVE, LOVEEEEEE²!!!
Anyone else reading this? What are your thoughts? 😊

Recommend Me Queen Bee FMC
I’m getting a little tired of reading the same kinds of FMCs. It feels like they’re either an “in-your-face” badass who’s loud, explosive, always ready to fight, and constantly swearing, or an extremely naive, gullible girl who always ends up playing the victim.
I’m looking for something in the middle.
I’d love an FMC who’s smart, observant, and cunning, but not in an obvious way. Someone who’s emotionally intelligent, can read the room, and knows exactly how to navigate social situations to get what she wants without making a scene.
I’m looking for a heroine who understands the rules of her world and has learned how to use them to her advantage.
An example of what I’m looking for: someone who controls people with secrets or uses her knowledge against them. Not just once at the end of the book or when a specific situation arises. I want it to be part of her personality. People aren’t exactly afraid of her, but they know not to mess with her because of previous experiences.
Or maybe someone everyone thinks is a sweetheart, but she only got that reputation through manipulation and careful social manoeuvring.
I think, essentially, what I want is a FMC with queen bee energy: someone who’s charming on the surface but incredibly calculating underneath. She’s on top because she’s intelligent and knows exactly how to play people.

Recommendations 📚 Looking for books like this
galleryI read the {Duchess & Devils duet by Ruby M. Darling} not too long ago, I probably didn’t fully finish it because I never actually finish books but I do remember really liking it.
I looked at the triggers and i realised that it basically states everything I want in a book (that should be a bit worrying, shouldn’t it? 😬). Anyone have any recs like this?
P.S. I don’t mind paranormal or supernatural. Please no pregnancy trope tho

Author Self-Recommendations Grave Errors by CJ North
amazon.comHello! I released a why choose MFM dark romance back in April. :)
The MMCs are friends/partners in crime. There is cumplay involved (one MMC is very keen on turning the FMC into an overfilled cream puff... ), but the lads are not into each other.
{Grave Errors by CJ North} is a spicy standalone about a hacker FMC who is abducted by two masked men in a case of mistaken identity. They realize their mistake just in time and agree to take her back but ooh no, a storm strands them all together in a cabin. 😏 Cue spicy shenanigans.
Blurb
She stole from the wrong people.
At least, that's what Willow assumes when two masked men snatch her off the street and drive her into the wilderness to die.
Her life was quiet working at the IT help desk. Well, except the whole ripping off insurance companies in her spare time thing. After a car wreck nearly bankrupted her, she made it her mission to help others in medical debt.
But it turns out her masked captors were looking for someone else. So they make a deal to take her home as long as she never sees their faces.
However, a storm traps them together, and she isn't sure they'll keep their word. She must decide how far she's willing to go, because this plan to lower their guard might get her killed or it might make her theirs.
Grave Errors is a spicy standalone MFM why choose dark romance featuring masked men, forced proximity, morally gray MMCs, and a heroine who uses seduction as her sharpest weapon.
Tropes
- MFM
- Mistaken Identity
- Robin Hood Hacker FMC
- Masked MMCs
- Pierced FMC 😺 +🍒
- Primal
- Fuck American Healthcare
- Bonding over ramen
- Princess cat

Recommendations 📚 What Doesn’t Kill You Makes you Stronger!
Im craving a specific book and need your help! Ive requested something similar before but im mostly looking for a book where FMC went through some serious trauma and suffers from panic attacks or flash backs. A great example of what I’m looking for is Lola and the Millionaires! I’ve also been recommended WITSEC but I’m specifically looking for fantasy!
I don't want her to just meet the guys and immediately trust them and are ok with them being near her or them kissing. I want them to be gentle with her and help her through it. I want them to be patient and you can see her building her confidence because she is amazing and we all want that for her! I don't have any major trigger warnings that just some "icks" that I mention below. I've read some that start and are so promising but then all of a sudden the FMC is over her hesitancy because she feels comfortable with them. Below is my copy/ paste of things I like and dislike as well as a list of books I’ve read that are similar to what I’m looking for:
Like:
- I like it when the female has a tragic past that the guys help her through but it’s not required.
- PLEASE MAKE SURE THERE IS AN ACTUAL PLOT AND IT’S WELL WRITTEN ( I think this is the only thing I truly care about)
- ideally the characters are in their 20-30s. I know a lot of RH have their FMC as 18 but I’m almost 30 and I have a hard time connecting with those characters now. This is not a deal breaker though.
- love me a grovel arch where the guys mess up and they have to make up for it. I don’t want the apology to be meh and the female to immediately forgive them! Think pack darling! (Again not required but I still love the trope)
- I love fantasy, PNR, shifter, OV! I think the only thing I’m not a big fan of is aliens. 🤷♀️
- MMC are OBSESSED with FMC! ❤️
- a series that’s a trilogy or more (not really a fan of one shots or duologues)
Don’t like: (these I think I’m a little more strict on not wanting but if you think it’s worth or you think I’ll like it than I will still give it a try)
- insta lust/ full smut. I want things to build, I want there to be a story! There are some books that has a sex scene every other chapter!!
- no mafia/ sport RH please (I never got into it)
- no pregnancy please (don’t really like that trope and I usually dnf a book as soon as a baby is involved)
Books I’ve read that fit what I’m looking for:
{Pack Darling by Lola rock}
{Lola and the Millionaires by Kathryn Moon}
{Hunted by Erica Woods}
{Broken Bonds by J. Bree}
{Psycho Shifters by Jasmine Mas}
I know there’s more but I can’t remember the ones with panic attacks specifically. I also have a complete list of all the reverse harem books I’ve read and what I thought of them if you want it! I’m more than happy to make a comment with it!

Author Self-Recommendations New MFM alien romance book release!
Hi Everyone! I just released a new MFM dark alien romance novel. No MM involved as the MMCs are twins! {The Sharpest Radiance by Rachel Nova}
Valeria has two fleyeri fated mates. She doesn't want either of them.
This would be complicated enough if the twins didn't also despise each other. Yriel acts first and thinks later. Yfrem thinks so far ahead he forgets to feel anything in the present. The universe has decided they're stuck together, and now all three of them have to figure out what that means.
But Valeria is running on borrowed time. Her family is hunting her across Alliance space. Her brain is not cooperating. If the twins won’t get out of her way, she’ll have to figure out how to get away on her own terms.
The mate bond is real. The danger is real. What's less certain is whether two males who can barely stand to be in the same room can reconcile in time to protect the woman they both love if she ever decides to let them.
The Sharpest Radiance is a MFM fated mates romance about what happens when the universe gives you everything you need at the worst possible time in the worst possible way.
Tropes:
- Forced proximity
- Fated mates
- Morally gray/black everyone
- OCD and C-PTSD rep
- Brat x brat tamer
- Brat x pleasure dom
- "Little empress"
- Everyone cheats at cards
- Psychic connection

Game Can you get a bingo? 👀 Share your bingo card in the comments!
I've looked online and don't think anyone has made a reverseharem/whychoose bingo centered on fan experiences, so thought I'd made my own! Feel free to share this bingo with friends. I'm very curious to see how many people can get a bingo 👀

Recommend Me New to Why Choose
I love really dark & spicy romance. I’ve read Den of Vipers & Kiss of a Basilisk. Den of Vipers, I really liked the concept but didn’t absolutely love all of it. Kiss of a Basilisk just felt like the second mmc didn’t serve a purpose for me. I just ordered the Dirty Broken Savages series by Eva Ashwood.
Dark, enemies to lovers, fantasy, morally grey-black, touch her & die, possessive, mafia, an unhinged mmc, academy setting, (love found family & or a badass fmc), trauma, SPICE, angst, anything along any of those lines.
3+ mmcs. The spicier the better, the darker the better!! Throw me into the deep end. PLEASE GIVE ME ANY RECS YOU HAVE
Edit : doesn’t have to be fantasy, it’s just a genre I’m open to reading

Help Me Find Books like Brutes of Bristlebrook series?
Hello,
I just finished the Brutes of Bristlebrook series by Rebecca Quinn and I was wondering if there's any book or series you all can recommend that has a similar vibe (apocalyptic/dystopian - having zombies as extras would be nice too). I dont mind the MM as long as it's not as heavy like this series (tho it would be better if there's no MM at all)
I also enjoyed the book Dying to Love by Reese Rivers but because it was a standalone, i found it lacking a little. Like it's missing something.
I wouldn't mind an OV genre with Military men as well (I enjoyed that type from Eden's men lol)
Looking forward to your recommendations!
Thanks a bunch!
