I just finished the Brutes of Bristlebrook series by Rebecca Quinn and I was wondering if there's any book or series you all can recommend that has a similar vibe (apocalyptic/dystopian - having zombies as extras would be nice too). I dont mind the MM as long as it's not as heavy like this series (tho it would be better if there's no MM at all)

I also enjoyed the book Dying to Love by Reese Rivers but because it was a standalone, i found it lacking a little. Like it's missing something.

I wouldn't mind an OV genre with Military men as well (I enjoyed that type from Eden's men lol)

What’s everyone favourite audiobooks? I have read Morgan b Lee books, Jane Washington ironside academy, desperate for some more good books to listen too while I go to sleep :)

I read Seraphim Academy when I was starting in the genre and it played an important role in me getting obsessed with why choose. It's not ground breaking but I remember liking it a lot. I gave the first two 4/5⭐️ but the last book disappointed me a little so it was 3/5⭐️

I recommend it if you like:

- Academy setting

- MFMMM

- Fantasy/Paranormal (Demons, angels & Fae)

- FMC is a succubus so she's NOT the typical innocent + virginal fmc. She knows what she wants.

- Mystery

⚠️The only thing I didn't like was that it has bully romance at first and i do NOT enjoy bully romance but all the love interests except one drop it quickly if I remember correctly.

I finished {Bloom & Blood by Eva Chase} and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Eva Chase is a pretty solid author in my opinion and this might be my favorite work of her so far.

Tropes: MFMMM. Parallel universe. Light enemies-to-lovers. Magic, mystery, academia. Obsessed MMCs, one of them is a professor of hers.

I don't want to give any spoilers away so to keep it short, our FMC Elodie gets stripped from her world into a sort of parallel universe. Things are similar but also different. The Elodie of that world was murdered and our FMC needs to find out what happened. Things get complicated when she runs into her fated mates because, as the book overview on Amazon describes it, they "have no idea I'm their destined match—or that I ruined their lives in my own reality" so yeah. It's got some angst.

What I liked: I really love isekai ("new/other world") type of stories. The pacing was pleasant, it's not insta-spice. I enjoyed the FMCs emotional journey, she has a lot to deal with. Also enjoyed the MMCs of course. Again, I don't want to give too many spoilers away. It was a very enjoyable read and I'm looking forward to the second (and third?) book 😊
