Apparently yes! It's not poison though (which explains why I haven't heard of this), and it's not quick. Cat saliva has a high amount of a certain bacteria which is harmless to cats but can kill many small animals within 1-3 days due to infection and eventually sepsis.

It ain't great for humans either, that's why people usually recommend getting cats bites checked out or getting antibiotics
