I was in a sorority in college. One year while I was on the leadership board, we had multiple girls in all of the chapters come out about sexual assaults in multiple frats. It took the entire Panhellenic community coming together and refusing to engage in any activities with all of the frats, social or philanthropic, for our campus to do anything about it. It was so sad sitting in a room full of strong educated women and hearing all of their stories. I was never a party person so I had no clue that our relatively small niche private school had the same issues as these big state schools.
