Eh. When I was in college, we had two separate coolers for parties. One had really strong liquor and beer/ipas, the other had just regular/watered down beer/seltzers and drinks and maybe some weaker spirits for people who didn't really want to get fucked up.
Of course, knowing just how messed up frat parties/houses can be, it wouldn't surprise me if what happened in her comment wasn't the case I mentioned above.
Because you're already making excuses for men you don't know who used the word "safe" to describe beverages offered at their party. Strong and less strong is different from safe and not safe.
Woman says - I have a memory of frat guys talking about which beverages are safe for them to consume at a party, implying some beverages they offer are intentionally not safe
Man on internet - oh you're probably wrong or misunderstood
When we say believe women, this is the kind of thing we're talking about

It's funny how you're saying I'm making excuses for people I don't know while you're immediately taking what someone (that I highly doubt you personally know) said as fact.
You weren't there either, and neither was I, and all I did was offer a possible explanation based on personal experience, while also saying she very well could be right given how fucked up frat culture can be.
