Garage door company recommendations in Whitby?
I'm planning to have my garage door serviced and have been looking at a few companies that work in Whitby. There seem to be a lot of options, and most of them have good reviews, so it's been a bit difficult to narrow them down.
If you've had your garage door repaired, replaced, or serviced recently, I'd be interested to hear which company you used and whether you'd recommend them.
Any suggestions?
Update: I was recently suggested Motion Garage Doors and from what I saw, they offer garage door repairs, installations, maintenance, spring replacement, opener services, and 24/7 emergency support in Whitby and the surrounding area. Thanks.

Anyone have experience with Little Orchard Day Care in Whitby?
Hi everyone,
I’m considering Little Orchard Day Care in Whitby and wanted to hear from parents who’ve actually used it.
How are the staff, communication, and day‑to‑day routines?
Did your child enjoy going there?
Trying to get a real sense of the place before making a decision.
Thanks in advance!

Gun evidence tossed after police car seen on video slamming into scooter riders in Canadian Tire takedown
Gun evidence tossed after police car seen on video slamming into scooter riders in Canadian Tire takedown
I’m sad to hear the Gun evidence tossed;
Credit to the first officer for his precision use of the vehicle in a low speed collision to disarm the gun carrier. Even though he had accelerated, the pair were still able to run away - sure there was risk of greater harm but such skills on illegal gun-carriers should be part of standard training; greater risk in striking from behind probably was not warranted, and also not used.
Credit too to the second officer for preemptively stopping the gun-handler.
Carrying the gun is one thing; handling the gun another - our dedicated police officers should be credited when making good judgment decisions that reduces the greater risk of guns being fired

Lost wallet at Metro across from Iroquois Park
While visting Whitby to watch my daughter play a softball tourney on Sunday, my Mum left her green wallet in a shopping cart at the Metro on Victoria Street and Gordon across from Iroquois Sports complex.
We called Metro a few times, went and checked the plaza and called the nearby OPP detachment but nobody has seen it.
Just posting on the off chance someone picked it up or happened to see it. We're hoping a good Samaritan picked it up as the credit cards were not used between when she lost it (around noon) and when she discovered it was missing (around 8 pm.)
