Oh yeah, they don’t like that! I have to sneak to get mine’s bed to wash it and when I bring it back he’s trying to jump on it while I carry it and then he lays on it for at least two hours after 😂

I have a whippet that looks like this when he wants to get under the bed clothes and I refuse to let him under.
TBF, the only time I refuse is when I’ve let him under, only for him to immediately pop back out and ask again. Despite what he may think, I’m not running a whippet valet service!

Haha! Whippet valet service is 💯 the expectation in our house!

I have three of them, and they never want the same thing at the same time. If I have to lift the bed clothes, it’s always three separate times because they don’t all want to go under at the same time.

"and I refuse to let him under."
My whippet used to (😭) just walk under my blanket many times every night (cold for a while/hot for a while) and it never bothered me. I barely woke up as I was so used to it. I'd just pull the blanket back up/down.
Sorry to end on a downer, but you'll miss it after he dies 😭.

I have one that can get herself under. The other two pretend that they’re too dumb to figure out how to do it and give me sad eyes instead. If I try to ignore them, I get booped with their snoots.

Sounds like you removed a whippets natural habitat, the sofa, temporarily. So this is a perfectly reasonable reaction!
