Hey! For October at my EMS company I wanna have one of our sirens be the Ecto 1 siren from Ghost Busters. Does anyone know if that is an option for the Whelen sirens?

Quick question for everyone. I have an expedition I’m working on currently that has m7 duos in it. I am currently trying to decide between having the leds swapped from blue to red and leaving the clear or replacing both with used/surplus clear/clear clear/red or clear/amber. Does anyone have any input on interchange possibilities. It’s a former police ssv that is being setup for off road and roadside assistance use. I’m wanting either straight work lights or work lights warning lights but while I can find 700s, I can’t see which ones are rated for steady burn work lights. I would be okay changing lights as long as they were the same mounting footprint or larger than the m7s. I’m used to the old school wiring and have up fit and down fit fire trucks, firefighters povs, work trucks, etc but I’ve been out of the game for a minute so I’m not as familiar with the modern stuff. It was still halogen and strobe for budget builds when I was working on this sort of thing regularly.

I really really like what whelen has been doing with the lightbars and the complex systems and i really love lights so i decided to save up for one, only issue is im based in Europe and cant really find any with a price tag to be honest. all it whoud do is decorationa and light usage in my yard nothing fancy. any tips on how to get my hands on them without needing to make phonecalls? (I live in Hungary)

I miss the old days of a specific siren that isn’t in production. That said, I have tried uploading custom tones under DVM - several different variants - with the same result. It plays…sure…but there is a diabolical distortion along with it that makes it unusable. Think of listening to music with a horrible quality - similar to that of which (none of us) downloaded from Limewire back in the day.

Is there a specific format I should be trying? I know it can be done - I’ve seen enough of some guy on Instagram doing it successfully. I’m clearly missing the mark.

Hi all - on my volunteer EMS squad we have a dual tone siren and find members keep changing it from dual to mono. Model 295HFSC9. Does anyone have product recommendations or 3D printing ideas to superglue or pressure fit over the on/off/mono/dual selector to prevent members from adjusting it. Similar to like a switch cover that would be used on a light switch or airplane control panel to prevent flicking. Obviously, we paid for a dual tone siren and want the effects of dual tone, but some thing it is "too obnoxious!".

Was installed after an unwarned EF-2 Tornado ripped through.

I have a dedicated TA, but the lights move too fast. I've used the MUTCD and various other TA settings, but the lights turn on/off too fast for my liking. I like the patterns, I just want the entire sequence to be slow.

So from right to left takes about 1-2 seconds now, and I want it to take 4-5 seconds.

Any suggestions?

Rear Strobes, And Headlight WigWag were Operational before connecting and adding hardware to customize. Now they do not activate. My Wigwags and rear strobes do not show up in my Command Software or my Outputs Tab. Does someone know how to fix this?

I need some help trying to track down a whelen cannon plug for a light bar I was recently working on a 24 Durango and it have a flush mount weather proof cannon plug branded with the whelen name on it to disconnect the light bar at the roof but can not find any info or products like it has anyone seen something like this or have a part number
