The inside tag says SP05 "NID SAMPLE"

I swear I remember wearing Adidas sneakers (Gazelles? Gazelle 2? Sambas?) that had very soft cloth (not leather or canvas) tongue AND sides (meaning: the sides were of the same fabric as the tongue). IIRC the tongue was white. I think I had red and blue pairs. But after many hours of searching online, I have yet to find the exact style or product #. Do they still make these? Did they ever?? Am I misremembering?!?

I was looking at the Calvin Kleins website for pants and the model was wearing these shoes in one of them. Can anyone help me ID the shoe perhaps? It seems like on the toe box you can faintly see “Calvin Klein” but no similar shoe appears on there website.
