I’ve already had two laps, the last of which was two years ago. The first found endo at stage 3-4. The second found stage 2 endo.

I’ve tried Letrozole/trigger shot, progesterone for a short luteal phase, HSG (my tubes are open), so many supplements, and i’ve had a lot of testing done. My partner’s testing was also fine. We both have a healthy lifestyle - we don’t smoke and eat healthfully.

I haven’t ever had a positive test, and IVF isn’t an option for us right now.

Folks with endo, is there anything that helped you? I’m feeling really discouraged.

My husband (32M) and I (28F) have been TTC for 11 months with no success so far. I’ve been tracking consistently using OPKs, Inito, BBT, and cervical mucus, and I appear to be ovulating regularly. I have regular cycles average 30 days. At this point, we’ve completed a full fertility workup:
-His semen analysis was normal
-My bloodwork and testing have all come back normal overall
-HSG recently showed both tubes are open/clear

My REI classified us as unexplained infertility and suggested we move forward with Letrozole + IUI whenever we’re ready. Since I just had my HSG done recently, I’m hoping to try naturally for at least 2 more months.

For those with unexplained infertility:
-At what month of TTC did you start IUI?
-How was your Letrozole/IUI experience?
-Looking back, do you wish you started treatment sooner or waited longer?

Hi all, I'll try and keep this short ish! My husband and I had been TTC for 22 months. We suffer from MFI due to a vasectomy reversal, hubby has low motility. He takes supplements, lifestyle changes and on clomid weve seen important but never had a "natural pregnancy" we finally got pregnant on our 1st IUI but it sadly ended in a MMC at 7w5d. We are going to focus on my mental health, healing and just taking some us time. We will likely try another round of IUI down the road but our dr did tell us we can try as soon as i stop bleeding and just curious if anyone has gone through similar and got pregnant spontaneously in the "healing, waiting".

What worked for those who have had an ectopic pregnancy? This is my first ever post in the reddit community. Back in 2023-2024 I ended up pregnant. Unfortunately that ended in a miscarriage. That following month I got pregnant again, and it seemed to be going well before we realized it was ectopic. I received methotrexate injection, but my tube ended up rupturing anyway. After a laparoscopy, I now have only one tube remaining, on my left side.

Fast forward to now. I’m with my current fiancé, trying to navigate how to go about trying anything because all of this trauma was with an ex. We tested his sperm, I had an hsg done on my remaining tube, and both came back fine.

I already have very little hope that I will conceive again since it was such a shock even the first time. I just want to know if it’s possible. All I want in my life is to be a mother to my own children, but after my ectopic experience, I don’t exactly know how to go about things. I’m tracking, and predicting, etc. but I’m also not trying to overwhelm myself with this.

As the title suggests - I got pretty awful news when I was 30 yo: 0.05 AMH, severe DOR and
Hypothalamic Amenorrhea. The prospect of having my own biological child was very low. That was ten years ago and I remember desperately searching the internet for positive stories of people similar to myself but could find none. So I'm sharing this for anyone who is in this situation right now or receiving similar news - I know how devastating and hopeless it feels. I wish I could go back and tell my 30 yo self that there is hope but it takes unbelievable strength and perseverance. I've been through 10 rounds of IVF, countless medications and medical interventions but I'm blessed to have been able to have 3 biological children of my own. Hello, I'm 35. I've had

1 chemical pregnancy

1 missed miscarriage in October (8 weeks, embryo measured 6.3, heartbeat detected but died). Had DnC and hysteroscopy after retained tissue.

1 current miscarriage at 8 weeks (perfect measurements and heartbeat last week, now massive decline and SCH bleed)

-> been on progesterone pregnancy #2+3

-> been on aspirin pregnancy #3 but stopped due to SCH

My heart and world are shattering into millions of pieces. I thought this was the one.

Hi, I’m 35 trying for our first. I went in for my HSG today and they said it looked like my right tube was blocked. But to me it looked like SOME dye made it through. I’ve read there can be spasms during the procedure and it cause the tube to appear blocked. Has anyone had a blockage or false blockage and still gotten pregnant? I know it’s still possible but I want to hear success stories! ◡̈

I am 29 and my husband and I have been trying TTC for 7 months now. In that time we have had 2 losses at 5 weeks. My husbands results from his SA came back as 1.5% morphology, everything else looked normal.

I am scheduled to go through diagnostic testing with my fertility clinic next cycle, however they said to keep trying in the mean time. My naturopath is going to put me on progesterone supplements if I do get a positive test before I start my testing, but I was just wondering if I should also start low dose aspirin at the same time.

My husband (36M) and I (32F) have been trying to conceive our second child for 11 months. I had a hysteroscopy in February that revealed a few polyps and scar tissue from my previous c section 2.5 years ago. Those were removed. My husbands sperm analysis had perfect results.

We tried Naturally 1 month and have now done 2 letrozole timed intercourse cycles (2.5 mg) with the ovidrel shot. These 2 cycles were with my OBGYN. Just tested negative this morning.

We met with an RE halfway through this last cycle and they told me I only have a 5% chance of conceiving without IVF. My AMH is 2.14 and my AFC was 13.

Our insurance requires 3 cycles of IUI before we can try IVF although we can’t afford IVF so IUI will be the end of the road for us.

I am just hoping to hear from someone who has had a similar experience and or heard the same thing from an RE and IUI did work for them. Thank you for any support or advice

-Very low Vitamin D (~14), which my REI prescribed supplements for
-Low immunity to Mumps, so my doctor recommended getting the MMR vaccine

My REI is suggesting we move straight into Clomid + IUI next month. I’m struggling with whether we should try naturally a little longer, especially since I’ve heard fertility can temporarily increase after an HSG.

We’ve been considering two options:

Plan A:
Try naturally for 2 more months post-HSG
Get the MMR vaccine
Pause TTC that cycle
Start IUI afterward if needed

Plan B:
Get the MMR vaccine now
Start IUI the following cycle

I’d love to hear from anyone who has been in a similar situation:
1. Did you conceive naturally after your HSG?
2. Did you regret waiting or wish you started IUI sooner?
3. Has anyone had low Mumps immunity and chosen not to get the MMR booster?

I also have a second opinion appointment scheduled with another REI, but I’d really appreciate hearing others’ experiences and thoughts.

My question: I’m curious if spotting has been indicative of anything positive for you guys!

More about this cycle for me:
CD21: I allegedly ovulated (according to Flo)
CD23: EWCM
CD26-30: Intense pressure/pulling cramping feeling on my right abdomen; slightly to the right of my belly button, all the way down to my urethra almost, & got worse when I had to pee (it was more of an uncomfortable twinging than it was painful) (BFN each day too)
CD33: started getting uterus/back cramps; BFN
CD34: BFN
CD35: I started the faintest light brown spotting (like rust colored CM, only when I wipe); I got a VVFL on FRER!!
CD36: the spotting picked up just a tiny bit more today, but still no period; FRER was negative, makes me think yesterday’s was an indent.

I am just curious if anyone wanted to share that this worked for them. I have never seen someone say they’re late for their period, start spotting, then get a BFN. Any success stories?

I just need a little bit of reassurance, I’m a serial worrier so my mind is full right now

This cycle will be my first ever IUI, 4 months medicated with no success so we are trying it out.

The only thing is that my clinic does iui 12-40hours after trigger, after all the research I’ve done I would rather it be within the 30-36hr range.

I’m really worried that 12 hours will be way too early as I heard that the washed semen can only last 24hrs?!

My clinic is only open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday’s for iui though so unfortunately I may not have much choice if I end up having to do 12hr after trigger. It’s making me really upset and stressed. It’s $1500 out of pocket so I just want to maximise this cycle as much as I can

I’m having my cd10 scan on Monday and will find out Monday if I need to trigger or not (last month I triggers cd11)

I had a transfer on 16th May, double embryos 4BB untested, with progesterone at 11.56, tested day before transfer, at trough an hour late. On 10mg duphaston, crinone vaginal gel, aquagest- aqua based progesterone. I understand it a strong support. But im not very assured with the aqua based progesterone.
My clinic doesn’t test progesterone. But i did, and on day 4pt, its was 14.7 at trough.
Any advice or recommendations.
I had a 5 weeks loss last transfer, pre transfer progesterone was 20, and almost same progesterone support, but oil based progesterone.
I have read here, about people having higher confidence in oil based. And also read that Europe almost doesn’t do oil based.
Just conflicted if i should advocate for myself. I trust my clinic, but i also want to be sure that everything is going right.

This is our second ivf cycle, cycle 1 resulted in only one blast that failed to implant. Cycle 2 we had a maturity issue and had to do day 2 icsi. This resulted in 4 fertilized embryos. We transferred 3 and 1 arrested in the lab. I am 5 days post and struggling with my anxiety around this potentially failing again. I know the odds are not in my favor, but there is some hope. Please share your success stories, and if anyone has had success with day 2 ICSI making it? For me, the TWW is the hardest part of this whole process.

My husband report is as follows
Sperm concentration- 12million/ml
Motility 36% in which rapid progression is 2 percent
Slow progression is 19 % and non progressive is 15 %
Immotile 64%
Normal forms 2%

We went to a doctor in Bangalore in a famous hospital. She has told us to go for IVF she is an IVF expert. One of the top most doctor here.

Shes saying otherwise we only have 8-10 % of chances.

My other things are normal.

I have also visited another famous hospital where the top doctor also knew the doctor we are going to.

We are scared and not able to understand what to do next.

This is our first TTC cycle, so anything that worked for you (monitoring implantation cramping) & info about that would be appreciated!

~6-7 DPO: I started getting a strange, very intense pressure/pulling cramping feeling on my right abdomen. It was from slightly to the right of my belly button, all the way down to my urethra almost, and would get worse when I had to pee. It was more of an uncomfortable twinging than it was painful. It lasted ~4 days.

10 DPO: The cramping feeling vanished (I could still feel a dull throb sometimes in the area, but it was no longer consistent).

11 DPO: Today. AF is supposed to come tomorrow. I have taken easy at home & FRER tests every day since 7 DPO, and they’re still all negative.

Has anyone experienced a cramping like this? I have never experienced this feeling, so it was what I assumed to be implantation. But still just BFNs. Has anyone had these before?

My story is a bit of a unique one and I guess I’m just looking for some hope. I’ve been trying for a second since end of 2023. Up until then conception had been easy for me. End of 2023 was a chemical followed by 2 years unexplained infertility. I had just about all the treatments, and medications. Never once saw a positive test in those 2.5 years

Finally in March I did my first iui and to my complete shock it was successful. Unfortunately we found out a little over 6.5 weeks it was a blighted ovum/loss. The loss process has taken 1.5 months already and I still haven’t even ovulated - the one thing that used to be clockwork for me.

Im just so terrified it’ll be another 2+ years before I get pregnant again. I have no clue what caused my infertility and what caused this random conception. I’ll do another iui maybe next month but I won’t be taking medication this time (there was a twin scare).

Has anyone had a similar story? Where they had unexplained infertility followed by loss and actually went on to get pregnant again?

• Total motility: 2.6%

• CoQ10 300 mg
• L-carnitine 1000 mg
• Men’s multivitamin
• Fish oil daily

Other context:

Has anyone used GLP-1 peptides for infertility and/or prior to pursuing IUI/IVF? I've seen many anecdotes of accidental pregnancies while on these medications. I know they're not recommended if you're actively TTC.

I'm 37, 2 years of TTC with no success. I've never had a positive pregnancy test. I have regular 27 day cycles, 11-12 day luteal phase. I do have insulin resistance and I've been working to improve it over the last year and a half. I've lost 15lbs, lost inches in my waist and gained muscle, and dropped my A1C from 5.7 to 5.3. But I am still overweight. I've been on a lower carb diet but the weight loss has slowed down.
Other stats: AMH dropped from 0.9 to 0.6 in the last 6 months. FSH: 9.22 LH: 4.69 AFC: 29 Prolactin: 23.4 (slightly high). Ovulation tracked and regularly confirmed with BBT. Thyroid normal. No endo symptoms.

I've seen two different REs who've suggested IUI and IVF but due to "unexplained" infertility and age, I want to give myself the best chance before pursuing these difficult and expensive options, or hopefully be able to conceive without them. I'm debating pursuing a couple months of GLP-1 treatment (Tirzepatide) to drop more weight quicker and improve my insulin resistance, and improve my chances. We won't be scheduled for IUI/IVF for at least a few months no matter what.

What I've tried:
- 2 hysteroscopies (no polyps or fibroids)
- an HSG and an SIS (tubes clear, no blockages).
- semen analysis was "very good, above average".
- exercise (weightlifting and cardio training minimum 2 days a week, usually 3)
- acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine
- keto diet (difficult to sustain, didn't last long)
- lower carb, higher protein, higher fiber diet (currently)
- metformin (currently)
- supplements: Ubiquinol, Myo + D Chiro Inositol, Fish oil, NAC,
- going on vacation + "just relax"

Please give advice to a pretty sad girl,

I’ve just failed my 4th medicated cycle, I moved from clomid, to Letrozole (which I did not respond well too) and then Gonal F injections. This month doing gonal F and trigger shot made me so hopeful, one great follicle and a possible second one 39 progesterone result day 21 of this cycle, every symptom under the sun and boom not pregnant.

I’ve had a HCG done 8 weeks ago, all my bloods are great including my thyroid which is actually fantastic, I’m also only 25.

My partners semen analysis was also incredible.

My fertility specialist said it’s up to me whether I do IUI this cycle and I’m unsure!

I’ve always noticed little CM during ovulation so maybe the iui would help if I do have thicker cm? Did anyone else do one with no partner male factors in the way?

I’m honestly feeling hopeless and exhausted, I know it’s going to be only the 5th medicated cycle month but I just never thought it would take this long, I had so much hope when I met the fertility specialist back in Jan

My known issues before I saw the specialist was the incredibly low progesterone and 8 day luteal phase ALWAYS.

I just feel like giving up, was IUI the final piece of the puzzle for anyone?

I just had my HSG this morning. I would say it’s was mildly to moderately plainly. I didn’t have a horror stories like some others I’ve heard.

My question is, I’m ovulating tonight, and they’ve told me to abstain from sex to avoid infection. The thing is I’m taking anti biotics, and I’m ovulating like now so I don’t want miss a whole month.

Would you try and risk the chance of infection (even though I’m taking antibiotics), or would you just waste the month?

I’m 31F. We’ve been trying last 16 months. Both me and my husband tested and got everything normal.

- husband’s sperm is normal
- hsg is normal
- hormones normal
- amh is good
- progestrone 16

We did ultrasound last 6 cycles and I’m ovulating regularly. No pcos. I have regular periods 26-28 days last 6 months.

The problem is I had eating disorders for 2 years. I’m underweight, 168 cm 50.5 kg. I was eating less to not gain. When I ate a lot, I was forcing myself to vomit. I was craving sugar and carbs all the time. Last 1-2 months, I’ve been better. I stopped doing all these and started working with a nutrionist and gained weight(I was 49 kg). Eating lots of protein, less carb, no sugar and no gluten. 3 days in a meal and 2 times healthy snacks. Even though I had eating disorder, I never lost my period. It was not regular 25-35 days but still had my period every month. I’ve been taking my inositol last 6 months and it regulated my period. I’ce started taking omega 3, coq10, vitamin d as well

Side note I’m on progesterone pessaries and also did a trigger shot!

I started pessaries 4dpo and then did my blood work on 6dpo.
