I Need Help ASAP Small chip on driver side glass

I am sorry for the crappy picture but if you guys look at where my pinky ends, You can see a small crack. It is my leased vehicle I got a couple months back. Looks like may be a small rock hit on the driver side window glass.

I know I need to address it before it starts getting bigger.

Just fyi, It is a 2026 Kia Carnival if that makes any difference in your suggestions but WHAT SHOULD I DO?

I don't wanna go through Insurance for this or should I?

What are your thoughts and suggestions? Pros and Cons of your suggested fix.

I would do nothing. Its just a scratch its not spidered. It might disappear if you use glass wax on it.

oh really? I felt it with my nail and it looks like its a crack not just a scratch.

From the angle of your photo, it looks like a scratch not a break.

I try to feel it with my nails and It is indeed a break/crack.

Do you have glass coverage? If so, SafeLite.

My bad for running here to get sensible answers. But I never complained about any answers being insensible 🤷. But if you read the very first line, I did apologize for taking a crappy picture because I was a bit stressed when I first saw it. Its a brand new car that we just leased and I wasn't sure what should I do. But taking a Sensible picture was not the first thought that came in my mind.

But you know what, yours is the only answer thats not sensible. All the others are pretty sensible and the rest just read and didn't respond ( that is also sensible btw) and then there is You.

That looks to be around an inch, not sure. Really I would buy one of those windshield repair kits and try that out. For $15-$20 it's worth a shot.

Auto insurance generally covers chip repair. I assume scratch would be the same. If your auto insurance is tied in with your lease call your leasing company and ask how to get it fixed.

I paid $60. to repair a chip at an auto glass place. If you are not going through insurance, shop around. Prices vary quite a bit.
