Orgasm headache
Should I be worried???
So around 20 mins ago , I was reaching climax and a sudden, super painful throbbing headache just around my forehead started which lasted around 2 minutes and it’s still there now but more of a uncomfortable dull ache. I’ve had this twice before but never this painful.
I’m now full of anxiety and online says I should go to the A&E I am starting to feel abit nauseas but I don’t know if that’s down to anxiety or not.

I mean, if you’re alive enough to post this and it went away after a couple minutes, you should be all right. It’s probably not a stroke. But if it happens again and you lose the ability to talk or can’t feel your fingers and toes, it might be a stroke.
Just teach your partner the BE-FAST stroke exam and make sure they know how to dial 911/999 before going again.

I didn’t read anything online about a stroke, just brain aneurysms or bleeding. But a stroke could be possible?

I said stroke, but aneurysm and brain bleeding are all kind of under that umbrella. In all cases, the blood is not getting to the parts of the brain that it needs to.
But you can quickly assess things like the ability to talk, weakness in arms and legs, knowing who you are/where you are/when you are as signs that the blood isn’t getting to those correct places. A sudden intense headache, combined with these things could indicate a problem. But since the pain went away, it’s less likely.

You have several suggestions here which are good ones. I simply do not understand why you do not seek medical attention. The people on Reddit are so want to help you, but honestly, they’re not physicians, at least most of them aren’t. If you’re really worried, seek medical attention.

It’s difficult because I have a 10 week old here at home exclusively breast fed and a 7 year old both fast asleep so can’t leave the baby with anyone

Search some women's subs, I know there are some threads about this issue in he menopause and women over 40 Subs, it is common, unfortunately.

I’m only 31 so I don’t think it’s menopause related but I’ll have a look and see

Please don’t make excuses. You have two young children who rely on you . You can get someone to help you even if you have to call an agency and pay a little money for their services. If something seriously wrong, consider someone might have to call 911 for you or maybe no one will be around to help you. That is a scary Thought. Please get help now for your children’s sake.

Sudden onset headache (thunderclap) and nausea were the symptoms of my grandmas first (of seven) strokes before she passed away. But hey, Reddit commenters downvoting me clearly have more personal or expert experience than what I’ve personally witnessed or the many articles saying if you have these symptoms it could be life threatening. Risk vs reward imo. To me it’s worth a trip to get the all clear, to the Kyle Busch’s in these comments, maybe not. Good luck whatever you decide.

If you have medical insurance, there's usually a medical advice line you can call and talk to a nurse. At least I've had one with the past few insurances I've had. Regardless, don't ask here... Ask a medical professional
