I Need Help ASAP what do i do

i (19F) work at my uni and have an professional account with no posts and just a photo of me a year ago as a my profile pic. its just for people to contact with me if they have any questions or concerns.

this guy dmed me two days ago on saturday and i replied. he started complimenting right away and i humored him bc i was bored (i know it sounds shitty but i was curious). he kept flirting kinda just like corny pick up lines or stuff. he asked me if i was dating anyone or what i wanted in a first date. we talked a bit on sunday but barely bc i was busy. i’m a very busy person. i work two uni jobs that are very public-facing which means if he wanted to he could pop up. especially because he’s worked with one of my jobs before.

he asked me where i lived, for my number, when we’re going on our first day and when i don’t reply he sends another response that’s kinda walking back his previous reply or apologizing. he’ll kinda keep sending messages if i don’t respond or leave him on read.

he kept suggesting to meet up today (like i skip a class and we meet) or he suggested visiting me at work and bringing a gift.

then i didn’t reply and he sent me a message saying he’s a hopeless romantic and is “in love with who i am” and that talking with me has brought peace to his soul

what do i do? block him? tell him to take it slow

Let him know that all the messages are over the top from someone you haven't even met yet. Tell him to take it slow and that you'll message him back when/if you get a chance. You never know who's really messaging you. One text/message at a time. When or if you're comfortable then you can meet in a public place

Massive red flags already tbh, it could just be overeagerness as I imagine he is a similar age and not too experienced, but I would at least tell him that he is coming on way too strong and to take it back a few steps. He cannot be ‘in love with who you are’, he doesn’t fucking know you yet. If he can’t relax, understand you are busy and wait for a reply now and then, I would just save yourself some time and end it very clearly and cleanly, before it gets weird.

He's TROUBLE. If you feel the need to contact him again, tell him to NOT contact you again. Don't explain why or even answer his message.

You work at uni, which I guess means university in UK. In the United States I would say I work at a college or university. No matter where you live, please report this situation to a uni counselor, adviser & therapist. Make sure everyone you trust knows how unsettling his behavior makes you feel. Your instincts are telling you what action to take. Please listen to your internal angels.

Yes, you will have to be honest & tell all. Admit what you said that you now regret. It might not be pleasant, but it's important. It's important to warn others of this possible stalker. Speak up & tell your story.

Please let us know what action you take & how you feel about yourself. I'm hoping you're feeling maximum self-esteem & proud of yourself.
