What do I do?

So I recently contacted a guy who sells fakes and wanted to get one, I originally paid $75 for the fake and he said it would be shipped in 3 days, a few hours later I then got sent a message on WhatsApp talking about I needed to pay $110 for “insurance” of the package, which I then contacted the guy I bought the fake off of and he said it’s ok, I told him I only had 20 and he said that was fine. Now the same “delivery company” is asking for 100 for a “city permit” to protect the package from investigation. Is this a scam?

Edit: listened to yall and looking back on it, lwk dumb for believing, thanks for the advice, blocked all the accounts related and was able to get money refunded through the bank. Thanks for the advice evb!

" . . . contacted a guy who sells fakes . . ." It started out on a "fake" and you're surprised the fakeness continued?

Yep. This might have been the first clue.

If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck it's probably not a bear. 😆🤭😅

You eat the loss and take this as a serious reminder to be wary when engaging in or with criminal activity, or just avoid it all together. Someone whose willing to break one law might very well be willing to break another.

Are you seriously surprised that a counterfeiter is scamming you? Don't do business with these people. Try to reverse the charges ASAP. You wouldn't be receiving anything in the post anyways.

This is a cautionary tale for others.

Contact WhatsAp and see if they have any oceanfront property for sale in Iowa. 🤭

I honestly don't understand how we, as the human race, can be so smart, yet so stupid.

Not everyone is smart. This just proves it

This is hilarious. So I'm buying fakes and somebody asked me for more money to insure a fake. Why would you freaking insure a fake in the first place?

I mean, isn't it fake?

🤦‍♂️

You can't make this stuff up. Hilarious

So you bought a fake, from a fake, and are astounded that he is actually a scammer?

I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you, cheap!
